Great group of teachers. Was able to rent chairs to watch the boys surf. Boys loved it! We all had a great time.

I had an awesome private lesson with Davito today! He was a really incredible instructor, very patient and communicative. We had a lot of fun and he helped me get comfortable getting to the next level of surfing. I'm very grateful for this amazing experience! The whole set up is also great, with parking available right at the beach. Nadine was also really helpful and took amazing photos and drone footage! Not only is it a great memory but it's also helpful reminders of what I learned today!

I cant recommend this place less, the instructor barely even said hello to me, the entire time seemed incredibly disinterested in me. I made the reservation in English and so spoke in English to him but he did not know I was also fluent in Spanish, this mattered as every time I did something wrong or even asked a question he cursed me out under his breath in Spanish and actually made fun of me when i made a mistake. This was my first time surfing and so obviously needed help and instead of being a helping hand he just got annoyed and said I wasn’t listening and I was ‘playing about’. I do not normally write reviews or complain but this was something else. Finally the reason for writing this review (bear in mind I was a gb swimmer) was that at one point he got me to take on a big wave of which i did end of falling over and he said again i was messing about and i was told to wait well away from him where he couldn’t see me over the waves, as such i got caught by a massive wave and dragged under hard with the board pulling me along, he had no idea this happened. Also the ‘2 hour’ lesson was 1h15 minutes and then being told here’s a board that you ‘may’ find easier go catch some waves if you want. Again I don’t usually complain and I take jokes better than most but this was something else.

My surf lesson was incredible! The waves were great, and the instructor made me feel safe throughout the entire experience. It’s an absolute must-do in Jacó. The beach itself is lovely and invites you to chill under the sun after your surf lesson. ​One tip for newcomers: The school can be a little tricky to find because the gate is often closed. Since the neighboring schools look very inviting, it’s easy to wander into the wrong one by mistake which happened to me.

They got some sort of scam going on. So, no meeting point is specified, it says contact them. So a full day in advance of my day, I sent them a message. About where to meet, what time, etc.....for my 2 hour lesson....so, like 30 minutes past the last 2 hours of possible surf time, they respond. They say they just saw my message and to meet at, "the spot"....lol. I suppose in the sand on the beach somewhere, someone wrote, "the spot". Somehow, I got my money back. Don't even know how.

I had a great lesson with Miguel. He was knowledgeable, kind, and a great instructor. Rode several waves and the two hours passed very quickly. I would recommend to those just beginning.

Amazing surf lesson with Miguel! He was incredibly informative, patient, and perfect for beginners. He was also very accommodating of any injuries or limitations, which made us feel comfortable right away. We were standing up by the second wave! The conditions were beautiful and very beginner-friendly, making it an ideal experience. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable surf lesson for a 12-year-old girl. Thanks to John he has lost his fear of surfing and enjoyed it a lot. John has grown up on this beach and is very experienced, very professional and patient. We've been very lucky to have had it as a teacher. And as a bonus the photos and videos of Nadine that are a real wonder.

Amazing experience with surf lessons! The team fit us in same day and John was a great instructor with 2 beginners (preteen and teen). Nadine’s photos and from video captured our kids’ fun and beauty of the ocean. We highly recommend! Thank you!
