Our guide was very nice. He couldn’t speak a word of English, but thank goodness my daughter took enough Spanish in school to be able to understand him. The horses we got we polar opposites, 2 wanted to run and 2 couldn’t careless about moving any faster then they felt like. You have the opportunity to run ( yes I mean galloping) across a very large beach which was amazing. We all just traded horses so we could all experience the ride. Advice bring water - despite drinking water and swearing hats it is hot!!! One of our daughters had a bit of a scare due to the heat and our guide, despite the language barrier got help very quickly and she was fine. Definitely would do again.
Sounds like a memorable and fun adventure for the whole family. Even with the language barrier, it’s great that your guide was attentive and reacted quickly when it really mattered. Galloping along the beach is such a unique experience, and swapping horses was a fun way to make sure everyone enjoyed it. Also a great reminder about the heat, it can be intense, so bringing water is definitely essential.
The guide was very friendly, and knowledgeable. He spoke very little english. The horses are well taken care of and really well trained. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour!! Crossed the Copalita River twice and rode on Bocana Beach. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience, walking through the jungle field, then coming out on the beautiful beach. Tour guide was very patient and they were very knowledgeable about the horses. Had a nice time on the beach for a nice break between the ride to and from. Even though pictures show people and horses in the water, you don’t really go in the water so you can dress accordingly. The trail ride lets you take in all of the scenery as you’re walking through the beautiful areas.

Nico was great and the riding experience was awesome. Make sure you arrive early and visit with Sandra for some mezcal before your ride. The only bad part was communicating with Tao travel, they seemed very disorganized and the tour said 3 hours but is actually only about 2.

I did not expect to be riding a horse like I did at the end of the experience. It was amazing! It was a gift for my bf birthday and he also really loved the experience. Nicholas not only learned us to ride a horse during sunset on a secluded beach but also took us to a very beautiful lagoon which is only reachable through horse riding or by boat. We would never have know about this place without the tour. We will never forget this especially because Nicholas took a lot of nice pictures of us! Unfortunately I am not able to upload the pictures because they are too large..
Beautiful landscape in the beach during sunset, the guide was super professional, patient and give us good advice, moreover he took stunning pictures of us.
