the time they gave us to see Stonehenge was very short. We did not have time to see the monument calmly.
It is a great opportunity to see both Stonehenge and the Cotswolds in one day. Be prepared for long lines at Stonehenge as it was busy while we were there in July. The Cotswolds is a beautiful place with plenty of time to walk around and explore the cafes and shops. Overall it is a great tour and worth the price.
Sandra was a lovely and bubbly tour guide. Very helpful with directions and history! Vi drives us safely back and forth! Smooth driving!

Wei was a great guide and V a fantastic driver. They made sure that we had a great experience. However this tour is very expensive for what it is - You spend more time on the bus than anything else. A stop between Stonehenge and Bourton-on—the-water would be a great addition and improve this tour.
Very well organized day. Clear instructions and Wei was a knowledgeable guide with a sense of humor. It’s a lot to pack in a day. Could have spent more time in both locations but that would probably be in unrealistic tour length. Very prompt.

We went at a good pace at both locations. Lovely scenery and fun commentary by our guide. We may have missed some details or the tour co could provide more comprehensive deets on what to expect, ie; time between the sites, the fact that no bathrooms were available at pick up location or on the bus. The entrance to the stones is included in price but unless you purchase the shuttle ride you’re not going to get as close to the stones as those who did.

As Stonehenge entry was not included in your booking, access to the monument, and shuttle service was not part of your package. Our tour guide, Oliver and driver, Miriek were great. But, when booking the tour (especially the Stonehenge portion) be aware that the shuttle to the actual site is not included in the price. This came as a surprise to many on the tour. You can walk to the monument free of charge, but it takes about 1/2 hour and the overall time at Stonehenge is only about 2 hours. In our case, we felt forced into buying the shuttle passes because of time and aching legs. 4 persons was 121 pounds on top of our tour price. Aside from that surprise, it was a great outing.

We recently took the Stonehenge and Cotswolds tour with Golden Tours. While the Cotswolds portion was lovely, we personally felt that Stonehenge did not quite live up to the hype, especially considering the high cost of tadmission fees. However, the experience was completely redeemed by our wonderful crew. Our driver, Merrick, was excellent, and our guide, Oliver, was truly outstanding. Oliver is incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and multilingual, which added immense value to our day. He went above and beyond to be helpful throughout the trip. High praise to Merrick and Oliver for their professionalism and hospitality!
