Stenstaden är den enda världsarvsplatsen i Zanzibar så missa inte chansen att se den och uppleva lokalbefolkningens liv. Det unika med olika arkitekturer gör staden och dess invånare till en ikon för multikulturell smältdegel. Historien tar dig genom gränderna och gatan där handel med slav, kryddor och elfenben äger rum. Besök några historiska byggnader och tillbedjan platser, marknader, de fantastiska svängda dörrarna balkonger och basar på de smala gatorna

Arbeta runt stenstadens gator längs havet och upplev olika historiska byggnader som användes som administrationskontor under kolonialtiden. Upplev kulturarvet och det kosmopolitiska inflytandet. Lär dig historia medan du besöker det gamla fortet och underverkens hus.
Besök den före detta slavmarknaden för att visa slaverihistorien och kyrkplatsen där det var ett marknadscentrum. Du kommer också att se slavmonumentet med originalkedja som användes under slavhandeln.
Längs stenstadens gränder kommer du att se de magnifika Zanzibardörrarna, indiska balkongerna och så många present- och överlägsna butiker. Vi avslutar turen på Darajani-marknaden för att uppleva lokalbefolkningens dagliga liv på fisk- och kryddmarknaden.

Khamis is a very professional and knowledgeable tour guy, he speaks fluent English and told us a lot of history in stone town, also go shopping with us, we had a very good trip with Khamis, very recommended
Khamis is a very friendly guide with a good knowledge of German, who first took us competently through a spice farm, with comprehensive, vivid explanations. The tour of Stonetown was also interesting with a lot of information, especially about the people and their lives in Zanzibar City. It was a lot of fun not only to visit the sights, but also to walk with him through the market, have a coffee at the meeting places and experience the coexistence of the different religions and cultures directly. Thanks, it was great!
