Välkommen till Nafplio! Upplev en oförglömlig upplevelse i Greklands första huvudstad som anses vara en av de vackraste och mest romantiska städerna i Grekland! Under denna fantastiska vandringstur i staden Nafplio lär vi oss om dess långa historia när vi vandrar i de pittoreska gränderna med de neoklassiska herrgårdarna och venetianska balkongerna. Tillsammans med en lokal reseledare besöker vi de viktigaste arkeologiska platserna, vi söker efter spår av frankerna, venetianerna och ottomanerna i stadens arkitektur och vi njuter av de karaktäristiska dofterna av jasminer och basiliker.

Vi börjar våra höjdpunkter av Nafplio-turnén från hotellets lobby eller från hamnen.
Med början från Landporten går vi in i murarna i den gamla staden och vi besöker bland annat katedralen och torget Saint Spyridon där de mördade Greklands första guvernör.
Vi fortsätter vår vandring till Syntagmatorget, stadens hjärta, och vi utforskar dess historiska byggnader från olika perioder som det arkeologiska museet, Vouleftikon som inhyste den fria grekiska statens första parlament och Gamla moskén. Därefter beger vi oss till den förtrollande fästningen Akronafplia, som ligger på toppen av den klippiga halvön som har samma namn, där vi trollbinds av den hisnande panoramautsikten. Slutligen beger vi oss till den lilla fridfulla gamla hamnen för att utforska den venetianska fästningen Bourtzi, stadens varumärke, byggd på ön Agioi Theodoroi. Slutligen beger vi oss till den lilla fridfulla hamnen för att utforska den venetianska fästningen Mpourtzi, varumärket av staden, byggd på ön Agioi Theodoroi.
Slutligen återvänder vi till vår mötesplats full av minnen och kunskap.
