Bergens nästan 1000-åriga historia har format stadens karaktär, arkitektur och kultur. Bergens förflutna är fyllt av fascinerande historier som väntar på att avslöjas, från dess grundande som en viktig handelshamn till dess roll som en livlig Hansaknutpunkt. På den här turen guidar jag dig genom stadens mest ikoniska platser samt dolda pärlor som många besökare förbiser. Vi kommer att utforska hur Bergen utvecklades genom tiderna – från den medeltida Hansan till dess livliga, moderna charm. Turen är eftertänksamt uppdelad i två temadelar som ger dig en djupare förståelse för Bergens unika arv. Följ med mig för att uppleva berättelserna och platserna som gör Bergen verkligen speciellt! Del 1 - En promenad genom staden I den första delen av turnén går vi en promenad genom det livliga centrum av Bergen. På väg förbi fiskmarknaden, teatern och den gamla brandstationen möter vi personligheter som Edvard Grieg och Henrik Ibsen. På vår turné vill jag emellertid inte bara föra dig närmare de historiska sidorna av staden utan också till folket i Bergen och deras liv i här och nu.
Del 2 - Bryggen och den tyska Hanseatic League De pittoreska, färgstarka trähusen i Bryggen-distriktet är symbolen för staden. Idag finns kaféer, restauranger och barer bland husen, som besöks av lokalbefolkningen och turister. För 400 år sedan fanns det dock lukten av torkad torsk i luften, som lagrades här. Tyska köpmän köpte torsken av norska fiskare och exporterade sedan den till hela Europa. Denna fisk gjorde Bergen till Skandinaviens viktigaste handelsmetropol. På väg genom Bryggen världsarv kommer jag att berätta vad som gjorde fisken så speciell, vad Hanseaticen var och hur livet för de tyska köpmännen spelade ut här.

We had a very nice (private 😊) tour experience with Martin who is very knowledgeable about Bergen, entertaining and gave us some good extra tips on restos. Surely recommended !!

An excellent tour. Martin is knowledgeable and communicates with clarity and humour. He had many anecdotes and insider tips about Bergen. As someone who is not fluent in German he was easy to understand.

This was a great walking tour. Martin is very knowledgeable about Bergen and its history, and was able to impart that knowledge clearly and in an entertaining way. The tour was two and a half hours long, which was just right for us. Thoroughly recommend.
