The audio did not function adequately; sometimes there was no explanation in French, and you had to turn the knob to find the right station since French was less available. Additionally, the guide's explanation in German was more detailed; recommended only if you understand German.
It was a disaster, I could not find the bus Hopp on/Hopp off service offered for you. I ended up buying another bus service, and loosing my money
It was a real hell to find the right bus. We had chosen to buy online, it was really a mistake. There was NO info about where at Hamburg's train station the bus would hold. We chose to hop on hop off because we are poor walking, but was sent from one end of the railway station to the other three times. So our advice, never order online, take the bus, it falls you in when you are at the train station. The trip itself was a little weird. We got the hearing phone delivered 👍🏻 So we should share one set? But the bus driver constantly told in the speaker so we could hear nothing in English, in our headphones? It is possible, it was a cheaper ticket, but with these experiences, we would like to avoid the trip and take the famous red bus Hop on, Hop off.
has english audio, you can get on and off when you like , open top so you can take in the atmosphere
The tour was interesting, audio guide described places and buildings, brought stories from Hamburg's history. The organizer could improve details on this platform by providing clearly that it is line G, where the stops are and mentioning the schedule for winter.
Tour on Tuesday the 07.10.2025 You drive the customers around without info the various locations closed are - as a customer you wait somewhere 1 hour for the next bus. I can't do it. Announcement on the bus - every 30 minutes.
Excellent ride around Hamburg, showed off the city at its best. For non -native German speakers, the recorded talk track did not always appear to align with the location of the bus at certain times.
Unfortunately the driver told me I was on the wrong line. I went to the meet spot. There was a woman checking tickets who said it’s fine and let me on. I stayed on for the whole tour and wanted to go back to one of the stops the driver told me it would be faster to walk. I insisted and he let me stay. English tour was very difficult to hear.
Never had such a bad bus tour. The bus stop was almost untraceable, there was hardly a bus, the bus was downright dirty and I also paid 96 euros for it. Scandalous, the tour was also bizarrely short. I had bought tickets online, which I never again what a nonsense, on the bus I got a receipt of 84 euros I do not understand. Never again via TripAdvisor!
Pretty disappointed with this tour. firstly they only take case - not credit cards which was a pain, on boarding they give you headphones (one set each) but when you sit down there is only one socket at each double seat so we had to share one set of headphones. Some seats didn't have a socket at all. We had an annoying tourist in front of us who was jumping up and taking photos in all directions - even on mundane things like people's houses - which blocked our view most of the time but that is not the bus company's fault. The tour of Hamburg itself, however was pretty dull. there really was no "highlights" Despite it being a "Hop On Hop Off" the bus didn't stop at a single place for us to get off - you had to ring the bell if you wanted him to stop - which assumes you know where the stops are - we didn't have a map so we had no idea.
