It did not happen. Viator placed a message in the app stating that the basilica was going to be closed; therefore, they were canceling. They offered alternate dates and times that I could not meet. I went to the meeting point and my agent never showed up. The basilica opened at 1:00 pm. I ended up paying for a different tour.
Our guide Frederico was great! In excellent French, he showed us around the basilica and underground tombs. Precise, interesting comments, with humor and relevance. Merci Frederico!

Out of many breathtaking views one of them was the St Peter’s basilica dome . It is a must to do activity the journey involves 551 steps and it was definitely worth the climb . Many tourists are expertise in storytelling ! One of the best small group guided tours i have ever experienced .
