St. Pauls historiska grotttur

Beskrivning

My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much...Lois was our guide, and she was very enthusiastic, engaging and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed this a lot. It was chilly, so bring a jacket.
Our guide was great. She explained a lot about the caves. I was disappointed that we couldn't see more of the caves but it was interesting and for the price it's a great deal.
I was really excited to tour Wabasha Street Caves after hearing about it from a friend while I was in MN on a work trip last summer. We are from Boston, but after very little convincing of my fanily we decided to take our summer vacation this year in Minnesota and visiting the caves was top on our list. I've got to tell you the caves didn't disappoint. Most importantly Ryan our hilarious cave tour guide brought the prohibition era gangster hot spot to life with his humor, colorful, vivid, historical insight. He often referred to interractions with other visitors he's had in his 26 year history as a tour guide in the caves who could corroborate the larger than life stories about this infamous location. He also had a hilarious way of telling violent tales in a family friendly way that made our 9 year-old son laugh pretty hard. After the tour was concluded Ryan offered to tell my son and others who wanted to listen about some first hand Wabasha Cave ghost stories. Stories we will now tell for years to come. As a whole the tour was an absolutely unforgettable experience. I encourage anyone who is thinking about taking this tour to book with Ryan right away!
Cave tour was short but fun. I live close to the caves and was nice to actually see them after driving past for years.
What a great experience. Our tour guide Luke was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. He explained how the cave was originally mined for silica - then mushrooms were harvested for a number of years and this site was used as a speakeasy during prohibition and then opened as a restaurant bar and music and dancing site in the 1930s. Today the area is a venue center that you can rent. Go for a tour during the day or at night to learn the ghost stories.

I brought my 20 year-old granddaughter and her friend along on the tour. There were 30 in our tour group. Luke is an exceptional tour guide. He did not need a microphone. I am certain that he has had vocal training or experience in theater, because his vocal clarity and projection were spot on. It’s so much more comfortable and effective when one does not need to strain to hear the information. You’ll want to bring a jacket or sweatshirt because the caves can be a bit chilly. Also, be prepared to walk part of the time and sit comfortably at tables part of the time during the tour. The Wabasha Street Caves have a colorful history. And we enjoyed hearing and seeing it with our guide.
It is historical , cool inside and fun to hear about the gangsters of St. Paul.. it’s a great spot to have an event,.
This was a fun and informative tourm
