På den här platsen kommer du att få njuta av varma bakverk och coco-te på "Kaye Savann". Ett perfekt sätt att börja dagen med en närande lätt frukost! Den svala brisen och den hisnande utsikten kommer att hålla dig avslappnad med en positiv tjuvstart.
Upplev den fantastiska luften av huvudstaden! Du får möjlighet att ta bra bilder av staden från toppen av berget vid Morn Fortune. På samma plats kommer du få en snygg bild på den officiella bostaden för guvernör-generalen i Saint Lucia.
På denna plats kommer du antingen att besöka Glamity's Bar eller Antilla's Brewery. Glamity's Bar är endast tillgänglig på lördagar när destilleriet är stängt, där du kommer att prova mat som Island style Grilled Pork eller blodpudding med lokala sidor och island drycker. På torsdagar ger Antillas mikrobryggeri besökarna möjlighet att uppleva hur de producerar unika drycker där.
Marigot Bay är ett historiskt landmärke, som varit platsen för ett antal strider mellan de franska och brittiska flottorna. Den inre delen av bukten bildar ett orkanhål som används för att skydda båtar från orkaner. Bayen användes som inställning för 1967-filmanpassningen av Hugh Loftings doktor Dolittle-böcker. Scener av skeppsbrott, Storrosa havsnegel och konstruktion av sele för Giant Lunar Moth filmade i bukten.
Smaka på nyplockade bananer på bananplantagen i Roseau och besök St. Lucia Distillers för romprovning/destilleriets bryggeritur. Våra guider kommer att utbilda dig om hur bananer odlas, plantagens historia och lära dig mer om vår romproduktion. Vi skulle sedan göra ett stopp vid Romdestilleriet där vi får prova minst 22 unika St. Lucian-rom. Där skulle du ha en god förståelse för vad vi producerar för att ta med hem.
Namnet Anse la Raye är härlett från de strålar som finns i bukten, den engelska översättningen betyder Bay of Rays. Två floder flyter in i bukten, det här är Grande Riviere de l'Anse la Raye och Petite Riviere de l'Anse la Raye. På en fredagskväll finns fiskfisk där de lokala fiskarna presenterar sina färdigheter. Du får chansen att prova fiskfettar eller stewed fläsk med ett sortiment av hemgjorda spice rums (vanligtvis kallad lokal Viagra). Vi har upptäckt topphemligheter på Horizon Bar där kryddor, frukter och örter lämnas för att jäsas i alkohol under en viss tid, vilket resulterar i berikade och distinkt smaker.
Få dina kameror redo för natursköna vyer från både norra och södra tillvägagångssätt av "Kanawe" (fransk kreolskt namn). Kanawe härstammar från det amerikanska ordet för att laga krukor, tidigare Kanarierna hade en stor sockerplantage som sprang inåt upp i dalen som sträcker sig i en äldre riktning från byn. I 15-20 minuter kommer du att smaka på vår National Dish (gröna fikon och saltfisk), brödfrukt och saltfisk med kokoskräm, Plantain Chips och autentiska Lucian-snacks som tamerinbullar, Guava / Ginger Fudge och Goose Berry Jam på Del Rain Forest Cafe. Eventuellt kommer du att besöka Cacoa Sainte Lucie där ekologisk choklad produceras som ägs av en lokal bosatt som heter Maria. Dra fördel av de många kakaoplantaklänningen i St.Lucia, har hon gjort en serie olika chokladstänger. Metoden som används för att producera dessa choklad ger en unik smak som du kommer att bli kär i. Bli fascinerad av Kanarieöarnas finaste choklad! Du kommer att spendera cirka 20 minuter på denna plats.
Njut av atmosfären av Pitons (Gros Piton och Petit Piton) som är två gigantiska vulkaniska pluggar som ligger söder om Soufrière och är en UNESCO: s världsarvslista. Soufriere innehåller många utsökta attraktioner som att köra genom vulkanen som kallas svavelkällorna, regnskogen, naturstigar, gods, stränder och berömda orter som Anse Chastanet och Ladera.
Vi går sedan till Tonys plats, detta betraktar vi som turnéns höjdpunkt. Vi måste först korsa en bäck/flod för att komma till Tony's farm, som först välkomnar dig med färska kokosnötter. Vi får sedan prova några unika frukter från Tonys gård (tamarind, söta apelsiner, mango, papaya, sockeräpplen, gyllene äpplen etc.) Du får sedan utforska hans gård och se en mängd fruktträd, tropiska växter, citrongräs, ananasfarm och grön kryddträdgård. Vi får då en chans att rosta cashewnötter som en aktivitet på lokalt sätt på vedeld.
Vi får sedan provsmaka de mest unika Roms på resan, lokalbefolkningen kallar det krydda Rom en del känner det som moonshine. Denna speciella bar låter oss jäsa frukt och annan mat till rom i 6 månader till 1 år. Du får sedan prova dessa fantastiska rom med en mängd olika fruktiga smaker.

Come hungry! You will eat ALOT of amazing dishes as you are immersed in St. Lucian culture. Delvin was such a great host and our group enjoyed every moment.
This is such an amazing unique experience! We assumed we would just be going to different restaurants, but it was a very intimate, personal, St. Lucia experience. The food was amazing and the guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Delvin was great. The rum tour and food were both great. We also enjoyed stopping at the farm to try many of the local fruits. Delvin also explained the history and culture of the island while we were driving between the various stops on the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Delvin our guide was amazing!! He was very kind and easy going, knowledgeable of the island and ensured everyone was comfortable during the tour. The lunch provided at his mom’s house was a highlight of our trip and one of our best meals on the island! We got to try a diverse palate of Lucian food, all of which was delicious! The cost is defiantly worth it for the full day experience! Highly recommend our guide and this tour if you’re wanting an authentic experience! 10/10!!

Best tour of the holiday by far. Don't let the price hold you back: it is totally worth it. Chris picked us up at 8am to drive for over an hour to the first stop up north, then we gradually made our way back south to our resort. On the way up north Chris explained a lot about the island, its history and the culture. Every stop was great: local breakfast was at a place tourists can't find (and it was super tasty), the rum distillery tour and tasting was awesome. Chris was very patient when we tasted up to 20 rums before deciding which one to buy. Think that was it? Oh no, then it was off to an infused rum tasting, done by locals. Just a stand next to the road, rum in what seemed like plastic bottles. Sounds bad? He'll no, the flavors were awesome. The people super friendly and very keen in telling you all about their products. Rum infused with fruits you've never heard of, a variety of nuts, plants, but especially: coffee and cocoa. Oh boy this was good. "Take your time, ready when you are: Chris said patiently. Did I mention already he's also a very skilled driver? Also, as I am a beer enthusiast, I asked if it was possible to include the local brewery. Now this was a quest even for him but the man got it figured out after making some phone calls throughout the day and eventually we got the directions. After the lunch stop at a house of a local (we literally just sat in their garden, not a restaurant or anything, just at people's home) where we had a wonderful meal (and we were stuffed) it was straight over to Tony's farm. Tony is a farmer, possibly in his late 60s I'd say, but he showed his skills. Immediately after us arriving he started whacking a coconut with his machete which we could then drink out of and after that eat the gelly (at first glance I was like 'really?' but it tastes good, trust me). Then the comparison with a dried one. Very interesting! Then all kinds of local fruit and to top it off a crash course in how to roast cashew nuts (apparently without roasting the oil in the nuts is toxic!) harvested fresh from the plant. Finally our last stop was the one we asked for specifically so they added this especially for us: the craft brewery, exceptionally well hidden in the hills (even Chris had to inquire and that says something) where we could try 3 of their craft beers and had a great chat with Martin and one of the brewers (slapping myself for not remembering the guys name). This was our final stop. We had a blast. Chris was the perfect guide: friendly, knowledgeable, patient and funny. If you love to try new things and local food this tour is absolutely worth it. Fantastic.

A great tour if you are interested in learning more about the island culture and its food history. Take you beyond the typical tourist sites where you taste the local foods, homemade rums, roast cashews and drink coconut water from coconuts straight from the trees!

This was the best tour we did while in St Lucia! We had the most authentic St Lucian food - from a traditional breakfast to a range of different fruits (half I've never had before) and finally the most delicious salted fish curry I've ever had courtesy of Delvin's mum - hands down the best meal we had! Authentic and fresh rum punch (again one of the best I've had!). We also had a great rum tour (seeing the process in a working distillery) with the opportunity to taste 22 different rums! Delvin also gave us loads of information/ interesting facts about the island which was great to hear. Great communication with Delvin about changing the date and moving the pick up time back. Overall, I'd highly recommend this tour as a must do if you want to experience real St Lucian/Creole food!

We did the food and rum tour with Delvin and cannot recommend it highly enough!! He is a font of knowledge about St Lucia’s history, culture, and of course, food scene. It was a nice blend of conversation while also having time to enjoy some experiences alone. The St. Lucian breakfast was delicious with an amazing view; the rum distillery tour was awesome; tasting fresh tropical fruits at Tony’s farm was lovely, and it was amazing to enjoy a home-cooked lunch at his mom’s house—such a personal way to get a peek into the wonderful island culture of St. Lucia! Be careful with the final rum tasting at Horizon, because while delicious, those samples pack a punch! (But that didn’t stop us from bringing 3 unique bottles home!) 😁
