Taylor was entertaining, knowledgable and fun!
Very informative. Learned a lot about Louisiana/New Orleans history. Quick hour but hot/humid in June!
My boyfriend and I booked this tour on our recent visit to New Orleans and we had a great time! Taylor was our tour guide and we really enjoyed his style of story telling. It felt like the perfect length of time and a good value for the price. Easy to find meeting place with very clean restrooms. We were even able to walk from our hotel in the French quarter! We took a morning tour so we were able to enjoy before it got too hot and would highly recommend you do the same if you are visiting in the summer.
It was very informative but it was not entertaining. The guide was good but…some a little down on the Catholic Church of years ago.
Very interesting. Learned about the history of New Orleans and why so many cemeteries throughout the city. I did see a crypt with my family name. I was unable to take a picture because the rude obnoxious guide would not let me stop for half a minute he was to concerned about his schedule and listening to himself talk. Saying yea everyone sees their family name here and talks about a lot of nonsense on that. Would have taken less time for me to take a picture then him running his mouth. Two days later I’m still upset can’t remember the jerks name other than he thinks he owns the place.
Very interesting and learned a lot. The tour wasn’t long which is good but still just enough to learn some things about the culture there.
Our guide was very entertaining, enthusiastic and showed the love he has for his job and his community. It was great.
Short one hour tour which is perfect. James was an amazing tour guide with lots of knowledge. You can definitely feel his passion for the history or New Orleans. Made it a great experience and we learned lots of interesting facts about the cemetery and New Orleans.
Great tour of St Louis Cemetary. Our tour guide Taylor was super friendly and knowledgeable and kept the tour moving along without speeding through all of the sites. Highly recommended
Overall my experience was middle of the road. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgeable but he wasn’t the best. It was expensive at 30 dollars per person versus the size of the cemetery and the overall experience. I would book a combination tour that included a cemetery and French Quarter tour instead of just visiting the cemetery. If you are visiting in June try and avoid a mid day trip as it will be extremely hot and humid. In the cemetery you won’t find too much shade so I would recommend a morning tour to try and avoid the mid day sun. The meeting place for the tour had amazing AC and a cool gift shop area. Decent experience but not the greatest.
