Sonoma Plaza Food and Wine Pairing Tour

My wife and I were treated to a private tour led by Founder Renée Rebell, and it was such a fun way to explore Sonoma and kick off our long weekend in wine country! We visited five delicious stops in just three hours, each with a perfect wine and food pairing that totally replaced lunch. The walking was scenic, the portions were generous, and the vibe was relaxed and friendly. Renée was an awesome guide, full of great stories and local tips. Our final stop at Capo Isetta was a standout. Their cabernet was fantastic, and both Renée and the Capo Isetta team gave us amazing recommendations for wineries, restaurants, and experiences that made the rest of our weekend in wine country even better. If you love wine, food, and exploring charming towns, this tour is a must. We'd 100% do it again!

This Sonoma Food & Wine Tour was absolutely one of the best experiences my Husband and I have had! Lily was such a gracious and fun host, and the group had such an easy and fun vibe. The food at all the different stops was excellent, and the wine was tasty. So much fun from start to finish!

Loved walking around the square and the variety of foods we tasted. It was only my wife and I on the tour, not sure how frequent that is. The walking was not intensive and rather casual.

The guides Julie and Lilly were delightful. I appreciated the history and stories. The first restaurant, olive oil stop, desert stop with red wine stop were all fantastic. The Indian stop I thought was great but my 2 friends did not. The final food stop was good but not fantastic. Overall the tour was positive although a bit on the pricy side.

Julie was absolutely amazing. Could not have had a better time, amazing birthday gift. Definitely recommend you will not be disappointed

We always like to do food tours when we go to places that we’ve never been. It helps to immerse us in the culture of where we are. Of course being in Sonoma, we wanted to pair our tour with wine. Teresa was a great guide from many perspectives. She was knowledgeable of the area and its history, and I love when guides walk into an establishment, and they are familiar and happy to see them:) Teresa made contact with us 2 days prior to check for allergies and to touch base. We met Sat at 11 (don’t eat a big breakfast!) During our meeting it was nice that she wanted to know about who we were and where we came from. We never would have known to try the places that she brought us to- and all 4 places had something different to offer as far as wine and culinary experiences. There are a lot of tours out there and it was overwhelming to make sure I picked the right one for us. Some also may be slightly less in cost. As far as I’m concerned, this was worth that minor difference. Too bad we don’t live closer , we’d hang w Teresa anytime! Shout out to Dave from Sigh, and Marisa from Galatea Effect ( see photo) who made our time at their places memorable!

Had the best time with Viv on our tour. So fun, engaging and informative. Will definitely do this tour again! Restaurant choices for the food and wine were wonderful!

We booked this tour to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was the perfect way to spend the day in Sonoma. Teresa was an outstanding tour guide. She's knowledgeable, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.

Teresa Friedman is an excellent tour guide for Sonoma ~ her knowledge of Sonoma history is vast and we learned a lot about the wines we tasted.

Viv was an excellent tour guide with a wealth of knowledge of local Sonoma history, wine history and food hotspots. My daughter and I were impressed with the range of restaurants we visited along with the quality of the food and wine. We will request Viv for future tours!
