Att besöka Angkor Wat på morgonen är en magisk upplevelse. Avresa från hotellet mellan 04:00 och 04:30 gör att du kan bevittna skönheten i tempelkomplexet under de lugna timmarna före gryningen. När solen börjar gå upp kastar den ett fascinerande sken över de gamla templen och skapar fantastiska silhuetter mot himlen. Efter att ha besökt templen i Angkor Wat fortsätter vi vår resa med en härlig måltid på en lokal restaurang, som varar cirka 1 timme. Efter vår måltid kommer vi att ha möjlighet att beundra den fantastiska utsikten över Srah Srang från framsidan av restaurangen. Sedan fortsätter vi till Ta Prohm, även känt som Angelina Jolie-templet, bara 5 minuters bilresa bort. Detta tempel ståtar med magnifika rotträd, av vilka några är mellan 300 och 400 år gamla. Byggt under 1100-talet av den store kungen Jaya Varman VII för att hedra sin mor, templet är också hem för den vördade statyn av Buddha Sattva, installerad vid det centrala templet.
Efter att ha besökt Phnom-templen fortsätter vi att utforska Bayon-templet. På väg till Bayon-templet går vi genom den historiska staden Angkor Thom. Angkor Thom City, en av de stora huvudstäderna, byggdes av den illustrerade kungen Jayavarman VII, med dess östra portar som särskilt anmärkningsvärda. När vi når Angkor Thoms östra portar har vi ett stopp på 15 minuter.

Bayon Temple är tillräckligt kompakt för att tillåta alla besöksordningar, särskilt eftersom avsaknaden av en omgivande mur gör det lätt att komma in. We really enjoyed this private tour with our guide, Tann and driver, Nat. Tann was very knowledgeable and taught us about the history the Siem Reap area temples, but we also learned a lot about more recent Cambodian history. He is very experienced and also takes amazing photos! Nat was very professional, nice, and a good safe driver. Definitely recommend this one experience over just getting a tuk tuk, well worth the extra cost.

Our family of four adults and three children enjoyed a private sunrise tour of Angkor Temples from Siem Reap today. So, was our incredible guide who was very informative and provided an excellent overview of the history of the temples and of the region. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour even more meaningful. So knew exactly where we should stand to get the best view of the sunrise and we were lucky to see a beautiful one. So was really lovely with the children and made it a memorable experience for them as well. He pointed out special things that would interest them, including an engraving of a small dinosaur on a temple wall. So and our bus driver, Mr Nath were courteous, friendly, attentive and considerate at all times. They provided regular water and cold towels to refresh after each temple. Overall So and Mr Nath made our tour one that we will always remember and will gladly recommend to others. Thank you

Our family took a private tour to see the sunrise at the Ankgor Temples and it was such an incredible experience. Our driver, Mr Nath took great care on the roads and ensuring we were safe entering and exiting the vehicle at each stop. He also provided us with endless water and cool wash cloths throughout the trip. Our tour guide, So, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly not just to us, but our young children. He provided us with so much history regarding the temples and Cambodia and was very patient with us. He also took fantastic family photos for us in each spot and always showed us the best place to take photos ourselves. So’s communication in the lead up to the tour was excellent via WhatsApp. We couldn’t fault this tour, it was a fantastic way to see the Temples and get a greater understanding of the history of Cambodia. This was my second time to visit Angkor Wat but first time for my husband. So I decided to take a proper tour this time as my husband love history. Sunrise at Angkor Wat was magical!!
