På Kampong Phluk hoppar vi i en båt och utforskar de vackra vattenvägarna och charmiga husen på pålar. Under torrperioden kommer du att kunna se vattenstämplarna på balkarna som visar hur högt vattnet stiger, och under den regniga säsongen kommer du att se byborna och fiskare som gör sitt jobb med båt.
Att gå ut på själva Tonle Sap är en djupt lugnande upplevelse tack vare att det stilla vattnet möter horisonten så långt du kan se. Vi avrundar dagen med en drink (och middag, om du vill) på en traditionell flytande restaurang för att se solen gå ner över sjön.

Our sunset tour to Kampong Phluk was one of the highlights of our time in Siem Reap. More than just a sightseeing trip, it was a powerful reminder of how different communities live, work, and thrive in harmony with nature. Our children absolutely loved the experience. Travelling through the flooded forest, seeing the remarkable stilt houses, and watching local families go about their daily lives gave them a genuine appreciation for the resilience, simplicity, and beauty of this unique community. It sparked conversations that no classroom could ever teach. The boat ride across Tonlé Sap at sunset was breathtaking, with peaceful scenery and incredible colours across the water. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience engaging from start to finish. If you are visiting Siem Reap, I highly recommend this tour. It is not only beautiful but also humbling, offering a deeper understanding of Cambodia's people, culture, and way of life. An experience our family will remember for many years.
Good price for a great experience, beautiful views and very friendly staff, would highly recommend wether it’s dry season or wet season, still a must visit destination if you’re travelling cambodia

It was great experience to see Kompong Phluk. Walking through the town and interacting with the locals, especially at the English school was a neat experience. Very unique and cool to eat at a restaurant on the lake. Tom was a great guide and very familiar with the locals and at pointing out the various cool businesses and sites. It was cool that he’s part of the community at Tonle Sap and very knowledgeable. Great boat ride as well to the restaurants
