Missa inte den mest fantastiska återuppförandet av Inti Raymi, Solfestivalen, det viktigaste firandet av Inkariket för att fira vintersolståndet och skördesäsongen; början av solens nyår. Med den här biljetten hoppar du över köpkön på evenemangsdagen som ligger 20 minuter från evenemangsplatsen.

Inti Raymi eller Solens festival den 24 juni varje år i Cusco, har 3 ceremonier. Du har möjlighet att sitta i följande sektioner: Orange (Preferent), Röd (Standard) eller Grön (Economy) samt möjlighet att köpa endast biljetterna eller även turistbussen till huvudevenemanget. Inti Raymi har 3 ceremonier, 2 av dem är öppna för allmänheten men huvudevenemanget är reserverat för de som har en biljettbokning. Och eftersom alla gator i Cusco är stängda det här datumet, behöver du transport från huvudtorget i Cusco till fästningen Sacsayhuaman där återuppförandet av Inti Raymi äger rum. Denna turné inkluderar transporten, lunchlådan, entrébiljetten, programmet på både quechua och engelska så att du kan följa med vad som sägs, en DVD-souvenir, plus vår reseledare och personal kommer att följa med varje buss för att hjälpa dig under transporten .

Perfect seats. But it was difficult to get to the stage. It took us almost 2 hours from Plaza the Armas to the 3rth part on the stage. Maybe it is better to sell this trip only with pick-up!
I paid too much for this show. I already paid top dollar then was told a day before that the transport was not included even though i received email confirming I paid for my transport and lunch. So i had to pay additional $40... NOT impressed! We were transported to the site way too early. The start of the celebration was past 2pm but we were transported there about 11am. The Celebration/show itself was ok and the performers were great. But after watching the Corpus Christi celebrations and the many parade/festivals before the Inti Raymi, the Inti Raymi celebrations itself was an anti-climax. I would have just stayed at the Plaza de Armas to watch the Inti Raymi parade around the plaza.
The street market is great. Speciality is Ponchos of all shapes and sizes. From Ladies high quality to Men's coarse outdoor types. All are good value Lots of local silver jewellry and leather goods. Woven products such as wall hangings are also great value. Make it a day trip from Quito, stop at Cayambe to see the Equator line, view Mt Imbabura and the nearby waterfall. Arrive and lunch at the restaurant Inty Huasi, 4 course meal for $10. Then do the market. Leave by 4pm as the drive back to Quito can get choked with traffic. Look for tours on Viator to do this.
