Resplan

Peter is an excellent tour guide
Had a wonderful time on this tour and really enjoyed being able to stop at so many locations. Our only recommendation is that the lunch stop be a little longer. We had to pack in a hike and lunch in the same hour, and with 3 restaurants to choose from, one was closed, one was new and unable to accommodate due to several large group reservations, and the other had a line out the door. Could have used just a little more time. Otherwise, so thankful to see so many highlights on one tour!
Dooley was our guide and provided a ton of useful stories throughout the entire tour. Thanks!
Super informative and we saw sooo much. It was overwhelming and impressive. The stories of the guide, who raised up were very interesting.
The guide has been very polite, funny and explained everything about the places, the culture and the history of Iceland.
tour guide Vjeran was exceptional
We had a wonderful day with crazy weather out on the peninsular. Beautiful scenery enjoy and stunning pictures were taken. Dooley was a great driver and shared valuable information about the locations visited and other general information about Icelands history.
Our trip was super fantastic. Our first time in Iceland first stop was Reykjavík and we did the blue Lagoon and it was very good. Today this was absolutely amazing. Every single moment of it was just fantastic. The Driver did an excellent job, but our guide really added so much to the trip. His name was VJERAN and he did a great job. He really made everyone enjoyed their trip over and above. He made everyone laugh. He took pictures for everyone. He did a couple of extra stops for us. He was just super fantastic. But the trip itself was also a very good trip. I would give it 10 stars on a 1 to 5 scale.
Icelandic weather is unpredictable and we hit the opposite of jack pot: full day of pouring rain, cold wind, and very low visibility. We were drenched and cold after the first stop despite all the rain gear. But Siggi our tour guide managed to make this day very memorable. He is by far the best tour guide we had in Iceland and if you get him you lucked out regardless of the weather. It is is a great tour if the weather is cooperating to get a sample of most things Iceland has to offer. Probably the best thing to do at the beginning of your Icelandic exploration.
This tour is definitely one not to miss. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the areas we visited and narrated with enthusiasm. The scenery of Iceland is 2nd to none and we certainly got to see quite a lot on this 12 hour tour. Unfortunately, some things could be improved. The audio quality was poor, so I couldn't really hear the narration. From bus stop 12 where some passengers were picked up, we were transferred to other buses a short drive away, we then had to wait almost an hour, before departing. Then another hour before the first comfort break. Too long for some, including me, which led to some distress. I also suggest that guests be informed in advance about how often to expect a comfort break. It's hard to stay hydrated if you are constantly worrying. It was around 1100am before our first proper tour spot, 3 hours after pick up time. Whilst I realise we had a long drive, not much fun for someone who had limited/no view out of a window. I opted for the small group tour as I felt it would be more suited to my needs. Sadly, the bus was cramped and every seat taken. As a solo traveller, on a sightseeing tour, I would have expected a seat with a view. Not so. The seats were narrow, uncomfortable and there wasn't anywhere to store backpacks. I had mine on my knee. Also, nowhere to keep packed lunches cool. Why not a cool box or two? I also think that on such a long trip, the drivers could carry water for guests. At the end of the trip the overriding memories are where we went and how I felt being fortunate to see such beautiful landscapes, but please consider the comfort of your guests.
