På Corfu Gastronomy Tours erbjuder vi dig den unika chansen att introducera dig för de lokala mathantverkarna och handlarna, människorna som behärskar hemligheterna med det korfiotiska köket. Varje matprovningsstopp har valts ut inte bara för dess kvalitet på maten utan också för den historia som den ska utvecklas, dess folks passion och dess betydelse i det lokala samhället. Efter att ha träffat vår guide är det första matstoppet på en plats i centrum av Korfus historiska centrum som kallas "helgonet" där vi kommer att äta en typisk grekisk brunch. Brunchen inkluderar den traditionella grekiska ostpajen, spenatpaj, vaniljsåspaj, ingefärsöl, baklava och sedan berömd grekisk yoghurt.
Vårt andra matstopp kommer att introducera våra besökare den lokala kumquatfrukten. Vi kommer att prova kumquatsprit, grekiska läckerheter med kumquatsmak och "mandolato" en korfiotgodis gjord av nougat.
Den enda traditionella mejeributiken kvar i Korfu stad sedan 1950 där du kommer att ha möjlighet att smaka på det berömda korfiotfärska smöret som de gör varje dag, en pudding och galaktoboureko (gräddpaj).
I detta stopp kommer vi att ha en chans att introducera våra besökare till de första ingredienserna och kryddorna i den korfiotiska maten och provsmaka olivolja eftersom olivolja var Korfus huvudinkomst i århundraden. Ägaren till butiken kommer att ge oss tips och hemliga råd om att laga några av de berömda grekiska matarna.

Electra is an amazing guide. We were on a 7 day cruise and her tour was the highlight of our vacation. The tour included some history and ALOT of great food and recommendations. If you are unsure, just book it, you will not regret it. (Come hungry, there is alot of food and it all tastes great)

This experience you must subdue yourself. It is a really good mix of food and history. For example, how history has put its mark on Corfu and thus also the gastronomy. Our guide, Alice, was really good at conveying the story in a lively way and the delicacies we got along the way fit into the overall experience. We left there with a feeling of having gotten a better insight into Corfu and an understanding of what it really is like to live there. Good and interesting trip!

Really informative excursion, our guide Alice was fantastic, so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and personable. The excursion was more than just a food tour. Our tour with Nausica was absolutely amazing! We sampled a wonderful variety of foods that are unique to Corfu's culture while strolling through the charming streets of Old Town and learning about its rich history. We had a wonderful evening with our guide Elektra on the walking food tour in Corfu town. We learnt about the history of Corfu while we wandered through the beautiful old town. We stopped to sample food along the way, delicious pastries, meats and cheeses, and sweets before having a meal in a taverna. Elektra was so knowledgeable and great fun to be with. I highly recommended this tour.
