Vi börjar vid mötesplatsen vid Potsdamer Platz för att nå Nordbahnhof med S-Bahn, en av spökstationerna som förblev stängda i nästan trettio år efter murens konstruktion.
Vid Berlinmurens minnesmärke på Bernauerstrasse kommer vi att återuppleva separationens trauma och besöka en original del av dödsremsan, ingenmansland. Vi kommer att diskutera flyktförsök, tunnlar grävda för detta ändamål och de fruktansvärda berättelserna om dem som miste livet på grund av muren.
På den berömda Alexanderplatz, framför representativa byggnader i det socialistiska Berlin, kommer vi att återuppleva känslorna hos de tusentals som genom fredliga demonstrationer trotsade STASI:s politiska förtryck, vilket utlöste murens "kollaps" och det efterföljande sönderfallet av sovjetblocket .
Vi avslutar vårt besök med den mest kända och färgstarka delen av Berlinmuren: East Side Gallery och dess 104 väggmålningar, inklusive den nu berömda kyssen mellan Brezhnev och Honecker.

We did two tours with a French-speaking guide: the must-sees with Marie and the Cold War and the Berlin Wall with Catherine. Two tours very rich in information, and in anecdotes as well. You don't see the three hours go by. Bravo for the quality of the content and the relationship with visitors. We were delighted by this way of discovering the city and its history.
