Med gourmeter från hela världen anses Hong Kong vara det "kulinariska paradiset". Från Michelin-stjärniga restauranger till lokala snacks, om du är en foodie och redo att utforska smaken av Hong Kong, kom och gå med i denna lilla grupptur. Du kommer att introduceras till lokala delikatesser som har vunnit hjärtan hos lokalbefolkningen i Hongkong. Denna 3,5-timmars foodie-turné inkluderar en guidad promenad genom de livliga huvudgatorna till gränden gömd av små lokala matstånd i Mongkok-distriktet i Hong Kong.

Vi börjar vår rundtur vid Prince Edward MTR-station (avfart A innanför stationsområdet)
Vi börjar vår foodie-turné med ett smakfullt prov på dim sum på en Michelinstjärna Dim Sum-restaurang. "Dim sum" - betyder bokstavligen "rör ditt hjärta", är mestadels en "snackstor" portion, serverad i en liten bambubehållare och äts tillsammans med kinesiskt te.
Efter en välsmakande dim sum-måltid är det dags för oss att träna lite. Vi kommer att börja gå och stanna till vid en ikonisk våt marknad som erbjuder en explosion till det förflutna.
Detta är ett revitaliseringsprojekt som omfattar totalt 14 byggnadsnummer på nr. 600 till 626 Shanghai Street, Mongkok, och vår nya hållplats. De inkluderar 4 bostadshus efter kriget och 10 butikshus från förkrigstiden som hade tilldelats historiska byggnader i klass 2 av Antiquities and Monuments Office 2010. Efter lite träning har vi utrymme att äta lite igen. Vi kommer att provsmaka den "kinesiska BBQ" som också är känd som "Siu Mei". Dessa är mycket kryddat kött, stekt på öppen eld eller i en grillugn, den mest populära "Siu Mei" är grillfläsk (benfritt), grillat gås och stekt fläsk.
Vi kommer att stanna vid ytterligare 2 familjedrivna provsmakningsstånd med Hong Kongs klassiska mat som kan innehålla söt Tofu-dessert (mycket silkeslen tofu med söt sirap), de fantastiska nybakade äggtårtor eller ananasbullar från det lokala bageriet.
Medan vi befinner oss i det här livliga hörnet kommer vår lokala guide att låta dig provsmaka olika sorters spett och små äggpuffar eller några lokala gatusnacks som du inte ens vet vad de är (men de är alla säkra och läckra att försök).

Our guide Rex was so nice We ate lots of different food tour, some delicious some yuk 😆 But you have to try food that is different to what u eat at home, otherwise why travel Loved the waffles hated the fish balls Rex took us to markets to o & walked us back to our hotel Excellent service Felt safe & respected at all times

Very personable and knowledgeable about Hong Kong and the local food. Took us to small restaurants that have been open for decades. We were quite full by the time the tour was done!

What a fantastic afternoon we had with Kenniess (Kenny) exploring all the various venues around Mongkok - Her food knowledge was outstanding of each outlet and very well explained together with jumping outside the circle teaching us the local customs. Yes the amount of food can fill you up early but there was ample warning of this :) We certainly came away with an enlightened knowledge of this very busy area together with a visit to the Ladies Market. Kenny was just delightful & made sure at the end of the tour we knew where to catch the MTR etc. -Big Thank You Again for making the experience so good :)
