Från ditt hotell i Beirut hämtas du med leende på morgonen klockan 8:15 för en dagstur. Resenärer kommer att utforska den antika fönikiska staden Sidon, som den har varit av stort religiöst, politiskt och kommersiellt värde för regionen, det sägs vara bebott sedan 4000 f.Kr. Vårt första besök i Sidon kommer till Crusaders Sea Castle.
Efter det och Mellan Sea Castle och Land Castle ("St. Louis" Castle), sträcker det gamla Souks (marknader) som har bibehållit sina vackra byggnader och kommersiella roll. I närheten observeras en reparationsprocess liksom små hantverksbutiker. I den gamla Souk finns det välvda gränder som är 14 kilometer långa och inte långt från Sea Castle ligger den pittoreska välvda souken i Sidon, där arbetare fortfarande använder sina affärer. På kanten av souken ligger ett traditionellt kafé där manlig kundkrets möts för att röka narguileh (vattenpipa) och dricka turkiskt kaffe. Fiskare säljer sin senaste fångst på marknaden nära hamnen inte långt från soukens entré. När du kommer in i el-Shakiriyya-marknaden finns det Debbaneh-palatset, där en smal trappa på taket leder till den inre gården i denna gamla byggnad som byggdes 1721. Byggnaden har bibehållit sina ottomanska arabiska arkitektoniska funktioner.
Då kommer resenären att gå in på ett museum för att spåra historien om tvåltillverkning i regionen, dess utveckling och tillverkningstekniker, vi kommer att se en demonstration av hur traditionella tvålar av olivolja görs och lära sig om "hammam" (badet) ) traditioner. En historisk del av museet introducerar artefakter som hittades under utgrävningen på plats och som inkluderar rester av lera rörhuvuden från 1600- till 1800-talet samt keramikfragment. Museumsbyggnaden är en gammal tvålfabrik byggd på 1600-talet, även om den innehåller delar som man tänkte gå tillbaka till 1200-talet.
The Great Mosque, tidigare kyrkan St. John of Hospitalers. De fyra väggarna i denna rektangulära byggnad (nyligen återställd till sin naturliga skönhet) är från 1200-talet. Ursprungligen en fästningliknande Crusader-förening med sitt eget kapell, det är fortfarande en imponerande struktur, särskilt sett från havet.
Khan El Franj är en av de många khans som byggdes av Fakhredine II för köpmän och varor. Detta är en typisk khan med en stor rektangulär innergård och en central fontän omgiven av täckta gallerier. Khanens centrum för ekonomisk aktivitet på 1800-talet, höll khanen också det franska konsulatet.
Efter khan al Franj, ska vi åka till byn Maghdoucheh, resenärerna kommer att besöka vår Lady of Awaiting, som är en melkitisk grekisk-katolsk marian helgedom och en grotta och som upptäcktes 1721. Resenärer kommer att gå genom helgedomen som består av ett torn krönat med statyn av Jungfru och barnet, en katedral, en kyrkogård och en helig grotta som tros vara den där jungfru Maria vilade medan hon väntade på Jesus.
Sedan ska vi åka till Tyrus som grundades omkring 2750 f.Kr. enligt Herodotus och Europas födelseplats och grundaren av Carthage '' Dido '', de resenärer kommer att se den gamla norra hamnen, färgglada gator och stranden från två sidor av stad.
Sedan tar vi oss till Unesco världsarv i Tyres stad som går tillbaka till andra århundradet e.Kr. Det anses vara en av de största och bäst bevarade romerska hippodromerna av sin typ i den romerska världen, resenärer kommer att gå igenom, som är cirka 480 meter lång och 90 meter bred hästskoformad struktur med tjugo tusen åskådare som samlades för att titta på den dödsdödande sporten för vagnsport.
På Al-bas-platsen finns en bysantinsk väg, en triumfbåge från andra århundradet, en romersk väg med en akvedukt och resterna av ett enormt andra sekel

I booked this tour with Lebanon Local Tour with Harake as a tour guide and it was absolutely incredible. We visited Sidon and Tyre and the experience was rich of history and hidden gems. We also got the chance to visit the Souk were we found amazing people selling their local products. The south of Lebanon is so rich in terms of history and cultural heritage; people were simply amazing - so kind, welcoming and generous. We had also the chance to visit Maghdouche - Our Lady of Mantara (Awaiting Church) - a place full of emotions and positive feelings. Our tour guide Harake was incredible. I don't have enough words to explain how kind, respectful, positive and gentle he was. He helped us out throughout the whole day and was always available for every request we had. He told us precious info about the history of Lebanon and everyday life experiences and explained us each site we visited. I cannot thank him enough about the day we spent together and I highly reccomend him as a guide because he was a true positive resource.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful day touring South Lebanon with Harake! He took us to Sidon and Tyre, gave us plenty of time to explore, shop, and enjoy walking by the shore. The sights were great but our supposed to be tour guide only acted only as a driver. He did not really provide any tour guiding in Tyre archeologigal sights and Sidon sea castle. He just drove us to the sights and we walked by ourselves in Tyre archeological sights and Sidon sea castle. Our contract was for an English speaking tour guide not an English speaking driver. He was also going to omit some sights which were in the program and he insisted they were not included. So i showed him what i copied from viator ad - Dubane Museum. Eventually he did but we had to retrace our steps as we passed it completely. He did not bring us to the Franj hotel and and Grand Al oman mosque. He just pointed it to us from the street. He walked with us to the souk, soap museum and the magdouche basilica but just walked with us. No commentaries or tour guiding given.

We booked very last minute a tour with Lebanon Local Tour and they were kind enough to assist us. We did a daily tour to Sidon and Tyre, with Ahmed as our driver. While he didn't speak too much English, he was an excellent driver, super friendly and a great company for our daily trip. There was lots of flexibility around the schedule, we could take all the time we needed to enjoy everything we saw at our own pace, while not missing any of the must see spots. He showed us around in the market of Sidon, helped us buy delicious food from street posts and nice souvenirs. This tour was great! It was just me and Ali my tour guide, he was on time, very professional and made sure I enjoy it to the fullest and at my own pace. Just a five - minute drive from the Hippodrome are the seaside Al Mina ruins. The bulk of the Roman ruins are a series pf columns on the seafront. You can pay 120,000 LBP to walk through this beautiful ancient site and take some amazing pictures. The site is open daily from 8;30 am until sunset.

Several historical and cultural places in one trip (souks, castles, ancient ruins, places of worship etc). Great views. Easy transfers between them. No problems.

The driver has been very friendly and very polite and eager to answer all my questions however the service I have received it's a transport service and not a guided tour there is no experienced leader as written in thr tour description I booked a small group tour and I was only myself it didn't worth the 90 euros I have paid the description of the tour is misleading
