Besök Kehlsteinhaus, som är mer känt under namnet Örnnästet, på en halvdagstur från Salzburg. Res genom det spektakulära landskapet i Königsee-dalen och de bayerska alperna till Obersalzberg, och fortsätt till Örnnästet på toppen av klippan med skyttelbuss och hiss. När du har gått förbi folkmassorna med snabbinträdesbiljetten går du på en rundtur genom Hitlers tidigare tillflyktsplats med en kunnig guide, och får njuta av bergsvyerna innan du återvänder till Salzburg.

Börja din tur genom att passera Salzburgs centrum med dess vackra barocka stadsbild
Innan du korsar den tyska gränsen, passera förbi Europas hjärtchakra – Untersberg, detta fascinerande landmärke som trollbinder sedan århundraden med sin mytiska kraft, Hitler valde till och med att bygga sitt högkvarter vid Obersalzberg, så att han kunde se Untersberg varje dag.
Ankomst till bergsbyn Obersalzberg. Orm uppför den natursköna vägen på en kort busstur, njut av hisnande vyer över spektakulära alpina bergskedjor och djupblå Kings Lake. Gå sedan av och stig in i en hiss från andra världskriget gjord av mässing, som en gång transporterade Hitlers gäster till Örnboet. Längst upp, gå förbi folkmassorna med en direktbiljett och gå in i komplexet. Byggd för Hitlers 50-årsdag, vandra runt på platsen med din guide och lär dig historien bakom det när du går. Njut av den otroliga utsikten när du tittar ut från en sittpinne på cirka 5 000 fot (1 524 meter) över marken.
Efteråt besöker du den charmiga alpstaden Berchtesgaden. Utforska självständigt detta pittoreska historiska centrum och se till att prova några lokala specialiteter under din vistelse. Du kommer också att passera Schloss Berchtesgaden.

Fascinating history combined with stunning views. Our guide was very informative. The tour was very well managed and efficient. We were fortunate to catch a perfect weather day but it would be well worth it on an overcast day.
This was a compact tour up to Eagle’s Nest, with a very knowledgeable guide (Johannes), who made sure I (as a disabled person) was fine at every point. The tour was as advertised and I have no complaints, but I wish there was one that was slightly longer to take in the museum. We stopped for lunch on the way back; the apple strudel was delicious!

Mitch was a great guide - knowledgeable, friendly, humorous. The Little Dragon is a very good driver. The Eagle's Nest has a dark past but is now an excellent spot to look out at the Bavarian Alps, small villages & a lake. Berchtesgaden is a lovely place to stop for lunch.

We did the sound of music tour with Panorama the day before, and it was so well organised we were so glad to see we were booked with them again for the Eagles Nest and Berchtesgaden. We had Mitch as our guide today (same guide as sound of music tour) and we were delighted as he was a font of knowledge and an excellent guide. He really made us laugh and smile so many times over the 2 tours. Little Dragon was our driver and he kept us all safe on those very bendy roads. Eagles Nest was amazing. It was a bucket list visit for my husband who is a big follower of anything WW2 related. We had a very clear day, with little clouds. It was beautiful up there. Very well run. I would have liked more time at the bottom to visit the museum and same for our stop to Berchtesgaden, but this was a tour and we knew in advance of agenda and timings, so not a complaint. If anything, it has made us want to return to Salzburg again to explore more. Highly recommend this tour. What an amazing few days we have had.

It is exciting to go see eagles nest and our guide was great. But the value was poor. After an hour on buses or more we walked through 3 toons and the main objective was to walk to the top of a little hill and see the views. We spent time reading all the photo displays and history and then barely had time to walk up and see the surroundings. Then the bus takes you to a small Austrian village to basically burn time while you look for something to do: shopping (?) or coffee. This was a waste of time in order to make the tour seem worth the money and length of time. Really disappointed and would never have gone if we had known. We haven’t ever had a disappointing tour with Viator or felt ripped off but this one did it.
A fun and informative tour with history coming alive - Jose’s experience and captivating presentation really helped our tour understand the role Berchtesgaden and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest played during WWII. A nice mix of learning, walking through the Eagle’s Nest, and sharing lunch afterwards.
