Sirocco Rooftop: "Baksmälla" ikoniska Sky Dining Experience

The only thing going about this tourist attraction is its view. It is surely one of the most awful price/benefit ratio of any restaurant we have ever been to. And the food was quite mediocre, and that is being kind. Not only do the prices suggest a total rip-off even before the food arrives, it confirms this impression totally when it does arrive! Unless you like wasting your money, avoid this trap.

This is the ultimate dinner cruise. The food was better than expected and the service was really attentive and professional. Everything on the river is lit up and look wonderful in the evening. A true 5 stars experience.

Very good customer service from all staff, including I Asia Thailand and the Boat staff - Good food with wide variety of choices - We were given a great table on the upper deck on the outdoor area. I Recommended if you want a quiet dinner cruise where you can hear your conversation and see the beautiful sights. Great value with I Asia Thailand too.

I signed up for dinner on a dinner cruise run by Shangri-La Hotel. Tours are also available, but it is easy to book from the hotel website. There are many dinner boats coming and going, but the food is very good. Sushi is popular, but as a Japanese, there are plenty of vegetables, crabs and other seafood, and roast beef that cuts thick. There's also an extensive alcohol menu. Best of all, it is easy to see the night view of Wat Arun and so on in two hours.

The hospitality was great, great crew , limited crowd, spacious, nice food and a lovely evening to spend with your loved ones, the upper deck is the one to be on , talk and enjoy the hospitality .. thank you for a wonderful evening

2nd night in Bangkok. We decided to do this as we hadn’t spent any time in Bangkok down by the water. After reading the reviews we thought this seemed like a better option as other operators looked like quantity over quantity. We are definitely the latter kind of family. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Weren’t disappointed with the food - was great selection- I enjoyed the great seafood selection. Fussy teenager enjoyed the western food, teen daughter enjoyed the Thai selections and hubby enjoyed all! Dessert selection was nice. My only grip was water wasn’t included in the price and I believe it should have been. Don’t mind to pay for soft drinks/alcohol, but water should definitely be complimentary in an superior establishment this this hotel chain. Atmosphere was relaxing-pleasant background music. Option of A/C for main course and as cruise wasn’t full we were allowed to eat our dessert on the front deck table. Staff were efficient and polite. They offer to take family photos with your phones which was a nice touch. We saw all the sights we wanted to see by night. Had a giggle at the noisy cruise boats that passed with loud pop music and people dancing on board (that would have been me 25yrs ago!) we all enjoyed this cruise. We enjoyed a lovely cocktail in the hotel bar beforehand and had complimentary bar nuts.

Easy to book with Tripadvisor and the agency I Asia emailed me and reconfirmed the tour within a hour. Easy to communicate and they also gave me clear instructions. A great experience to have dinner on a such wonderful cruise! Buffet was nice and a lot variety. Staffs were helpful in taking the photograph and explained the nice building structures along the river. Recommended cruise while you are in Bangkok.
