Ta en promenad genom den mystiska Pena Park (biljett och guidat besök ingår), med en fantastisk variation av växter och träd. Parken planterades med hjälp av en Tysk ingenjör, specialist på botanik. Känn dig som en kunglighet när du stiger in i det romantiska Pena National Palace (biljett ingår, inget guidat besök inne i palatset) på toppen av Sintra Mountain med fantastisk utsikt över det moriska slottet.
I Sintra gamla stad finns det ledig tid för lunch, innan du träffar guiden igen för den andra delen av turen.
Efter lunch anländer vi till Quinta da Regaleira (biljett ingår), en av höjdpunkterna i Sintra. Att besöka Regaleira är som att resa i ett fantasiuniversum fullt av symboler och metaforer. Det finns alltid ett tecken på något intensivt och transcendent. Guiden går in i parken med dig, ger dig information och vägbeskrivningar, och sedan har du fri tid att utforska denna lyxiga park, på väg till Initiation Well, upptäcka dolda hemligheter och gå in i mystiska tunnlar.
Egentligen inte en brunn! Det användes för ritualer inspirerade av Tempelherreorden.
Efter att ha lämnat Sintra, tar vi bergsvägen på väg till den västligaste delen av kontinentaleuropa för ett bildstopp. Dessa 100 + meter höga klippor är fantastiska
Innan vi återvänder till Lissabon gör vi ett litet stopp i bukten Cascais, där strand, lokal mat, gamla stan och fiske kombineras. Bra stopp för bilder och kanske dags för en glass.

We went on the Sintra, Pena Palace & Quinta da Regaleira tour, and it was an amazing experience. Sintra is absolutely stunning and steeped in history, and both Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira are breathtaking places to visit. Every stop on the tour offered something unique and memorable. Our tour guide, Goncalo, was fantastic. He was fun, patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone in the group felt included throughout the day. His friendly approach made the tour feel personal and enjoyable, and his insights really enhanced the experience. This is a must-do tour if you're visiting Lisbon. We highly recommend it! John & Kim
Our guide and tour stops were great, but the information at booking does not indicate that you will be collectively walking at least two miles uphill (some of it is very steep) so if you have any kind of mobility issues (I use a cane), the experience will feel more like army training.

This tour was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Portugal! Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira, and Pena Palace are breathtaking, and having the tickets included made everything so easy and stress-free. What truly made this experience unforgettable, though, was our tour guide, Hugo. He is, without a doubt, the best tour guide we’ve ever had. Before arriving at each location, he brought the history to life in such an entertaining and engaging way that it felt like we were part of the story ourselves. He didn’t just give us facts—he gave us little assignments, clues, and details to look for, making every stop feel like an adventure. By the time we reached each site, we appreciated it so much more because of everything he had shared. Hugo’s passion, knowledge, and sense of humor made the day fly by. If you’re considering this tour, ask for Hugo! He will turn an already incredible excursion into an unforgettable experience. We left with wonderful memories and a much deeper appreciation for Portugal’s history. Highly, highly recommend!

Our guide was Fabio Felix and he was wonderful. He was full of knowledge, funny and paused in all the right places. He also navigated the busy streets with ease. Would recommend! Beautiful area of the world! Also to note, van had air conditioning and with a limit of 8- it was easy to navigate and hear our guide. Totally worth it.
