Det kungliga palatset i Queluz, även känt som National Palace of Queluz, dateras till 1700-talet. Palatset byggdes som en sommartillflyktsort för Don Pedro de Bragança, blivande kung Pedro III, och var en av de sista stora byggnaderna i rokokostil som uppfördes i Europa.
Sintras nationalpalats, även känt som stadspalatset, var bland de palats som användes av den portugisiska kungafamiljen nästan fram till slutet av monarkin, 1910. Dess konstruktion började på 1400-talet och har egenskaper från medeltida, gotisk, manuelinsk, renässans och romantisk arkitektur
Det fantastiska Palácio da Pena är ett av de bästa exemplen på 1800-talets romantiska väckelse i Portugal. Beläget på toppen av Monte da Pena, byggdes palatset på platsen för ett gammalt kloster som tillhör St. Jerome. Det var frukten av fantasin hos Dom Fernando av Saxe Coburg-Gotha, som gifte sig med drottningen Dona Maria II 1836. Efter att ha blivit kär i Sintra bestämde han sig för att köpa klostret och den omgivande marken för att bygga ett sommarpalats åt Kungliga familjen.

Guincho är en gynnsam plats för surfare i Lissabon när dyningen inte går in i storstadsresorna. Guincho är en lång, öppen strand som sällan är platt, men den är också utsatt för vind - därav dess popularitet som ett tillhåll för vindsurfing sommartid. Den producerar dock kvalitetsvågor, och fungerar bäst på lågvatten när långa, rullande vänster och höger kan bildas runt skiftande banker. Blir stor och är känd för sina brutala rivströmmar. Cascais det är året runt resort bara 40 minuter från Lissabon. Kungar och aristokrater har semester här och det är lätt att förstå varför.
Länge som etablerat den kosmopolitiska semesterdestinationen för de rika och berömda på den portugisiska rivieran, har Estoril en elegans som oftare tillskrivs orterna på Côte d'Azur. Förvisade kungligheter och avsatta despoter gjorde detta till deras tillflyktsort under andra världskriget

Absolutely first class service. We had a personally curated tour of Lisbon and surrounding area with excellent recommendations for walks, museums, cultural and general interest places and a wonderful lunch stop. Pedro’s knowledge and friendly demeanour is a pleasure to behold. We would not hesitate to recommend his services and indeed hope to use him again in the future. Highly recommended!

A marvellous whole day. Pedro enabled us to see the sights, in a comfortable and mega efficient way as we were only in Lisbon for two days. He booked tickets ahead so no queues and sorted a lovely table for lunch. Sintra was a beautiful highlight. Saw soooo many Tuk-Tuks stuck in queues up to castle. Worth the difference. V comfortable.
The day trip with Peter was absolutely amazing. This is my second time using him as a guide around Portugal and he exceeds expectations!! We saw so much in just 8 hours and he had the best recommendations on what to do and food spots. He is incredibly funny and knows so much about Portugal. I always recommend a day with Peter when friends and family tell me they are visiting Lisbon. He never disappoints!!
Pedro was an amazing guide and our 2 full days of touring Lisbon and the surrounding areas was a highlight of our trip to Portugal. He is a native of Lisbon and enjoys sharing his in depth knowledge of his culture and its history. He was very flexible and was able to pivot to change plans as necessary. As an added bonus, he is quite the foodie and was happy to share a number of wonderful restaurant recommendations. We highly recommend this private tour for a fantastic experience of history, food and wine and the best of Portuguese hospitality..
Pedro is amazing! We asked our hotel (Sheraton) to arrange something private and exclusive for me and my wife to visit Sintra and some surrounding towns as an all-day day trip. They hooked us up with Pedro, and we were very glad that they did. Pedro delivered for us. He had a beautiful and roomy car, bottled water, and was very flexible with us on any accommodation we needed. He grabbed us an awesome table at a lunch spot in Guincho where we could see the water and the fish was fresh. He was very patient while we toured inside at a couple of key spots, and overall we had a very pleasant time.

Pedro was spectacular, professional, and very knowledgeable! We do quite a bit of traveling. I’m at 83 countries now and we spent some time in Spain in Portugal. Our hotel is Sheridan connected us with Pedro and we utilized him for tours and some other transportation needs we had while looking at some properties. He was spectacular, again, very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure our experiences were perfect. Further, the vehicle was beautiful. It was a Mercedes S class that provided the ultimate luxury touch for a tour and transportation experiences! I highly recommend him and the company.
