Sintra, som många gånger anses vara världens romantiska huvudstad, kommer säkert att fylla dina hjärtan med kärlek. Sintra anses av UNESCO vara ett världsarv, och Sintra har några fantastiska höjdpunkter för dig att uppleva. Av de fyra magnifika Sintra-underverken som föreslås i resplanen kommer du att ha den magiska upplevelsen att besöka ett av ditt val, tillsammans med Pena Palace (biljetter endast till Pena Palace ingår med alternativet Skip-The-Line). Efter mer än ett sekel som semesterort har Cascais en viss ryktbarhet som nyare orter saknar. Dess historia är synlig i villorna längs kusten. Den skyddade sandviken var en gång en förhistorisk fiskehamn.
Innan du går mot Cabo da Roca, kanske du vill ta en promenad genom Sintra historiska centrum. Detta är en bra tid att vila, lunch och prova några traditionella regionala bakverk. Cabo da Roca, den västligaste punkten i Kontinentaleuropa, är ännu en bra plats att ta några bilder och känna havets bris.
Vi lyfter från Lissabon på morgonen direkt mot UNESCO-listade Pena Palace. Det romantiska palatset från 1800-talet är ett under att upptäcka och ett du sent kommer att glömma. Det är en av de bästa platserna att ta bilder. Den är högt placerad på toppen av berget med en fantastisk utsikt som sträcker sig miltals, hela vägen till havet. (Föreslaget monument)
Vi tar en promenad genom Sintras historiska centrum. Detta är en bra tid att vila, luncha och prova några traditionella regionala bakverk. Du kommer att njuta av en timmes ledig tid!
Den fantastiska Quinta da Regaleira är ännu en UNESCO-listad plats som har antika snidade byggnader, otroliga trädgårdar och en gotisk bris som kommer att förtrolla alla som vågar komma in. Full av historia bakom det, kommer du att lära dig allt om grottor, hemliga brunnar och konst som härrör från frimureriet, tempelriddarna och Rosenkorset. (Föreslaget monument)
Denna magnifika egendom är en djungel av exotiska träd och blommande buskar. Historien går tillbaka till morernas tid, men den fick sitt namn efter ett litet 1500-talskapell tillägnat Vår Fru av Monteserrat, från Katalonien, Spanien. (Föreslaget monument)
I hjärtat av byn Sintra reser sig ett par ovanliga koniska skorstenar ovanför det kungliga slottet. Palatset blev hovets favoritsommarretreat och fortsatte som residens för de portugisiska kungligheterna fram till 1980-talet. Den gradvisa återuppbyggnaden av palatset resulterade i en fascinerande blandning av stilar. (Föreslaget monument)

Filipe was a great guide.was smart about how much information given as sometimes it can be overloaded,,no pressure to hurry and he personalized tour to suit our needs..all the sites we saw were worth looking at

Honestly I wouldnt do anything different in my stay in Lisbon, Alessio was an amazing tour guide (private tour guide) and literally showed us EVERY spot in Lisbon, Belem and Sintra… also took us to very local spots for the best sunset ever in Lisbon, for best pastries and Portuguese food. Also note that Alessio was very knowledgeable about the city, culture and history… a funny guy indeed. I highly recommend this tour as is the best “all-in” experience.

Filipe was awesome! He brings a lot of energy and knows his stuff cold. Very engaging and is very interesting with all his knowledge. He was born and raised in Lisbon but has worked and traveled the world. The tour is amazing and Filipe extended our tour by a couple of hours which enabled us to see more beautiful areas. We stopped for a terrific lunch at 3 Gomes. We asked Filipe to join us and grateful he did. We got a chance to get to know Filipe and enjoyed our conversation. The van was very comfortable. He certainly knows his way around Sintra and Penta as well as the Atlantic coast. We got a lot of pictures. Also, Filipe took 50 plus pictures and forwarded them to us. I can’t say enough and he made the day most remarkable and easy. A must do tour with him when visiting Lisbon. You will not regret it!!

Our guide, Adriano, was exceptional. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, and helpful. He made our day so much fun. He brought us to castles/palaces and to Cascais, and told us many interesting facts and history. He picked us up and dropped us off at our Airbnb. Highly recommend.
