Detta är det bästa sättet att upptäcka och utforska naturparken Sintra-Cascais, ett sant paradis nära Lissabon. Under denna turné kommer du att besöka några av de underbara stränderna och bergen i denna naturpark, du kommer att vara i permanent kontakt med naturen och njuta av unika landskap. På cykel besöker vi den underbara byn Sintra, känd som "sagornas land", där vi kommer att smaka på det lokala godiset (Queijadas de Sintra och Travesseiros), vi passerar fantastiska slott och palats, som tillhörde den portugisiska kungafamiljen och till många miljonärer som gjorde sin lyxsemester. Sintra är definitivt en mytisk plats! Med tillägget av den underbara Cascais kusten och dess otaliga och charmiga stränder på denna turné, kan vi säga att det motsvarar att "sätta grädden på moset". Denna turné kommer att bli höjdpunkten på din resa till Lissabon.

Sintra är en underbar villa, full av historia, belägen vid en av foten av Serra de Sintra. Med sina slott, palats och små gator fulla av färger är det en autentisk sagomiljö. Här tar vi en kort paus för att se byn, ta en fika och smaka på det traditionella bakverket.
Det här är en mystisk plats, inne i trädgården finns flera tunnlar och en brunn där man kan gå in. På dagar då det är många besökare är det omöjligt att besöka interiören, du slösar mycket tid i kö, andra dagar tillåter vi dig att besöka denna plats.
Förutom att besöka byn Sintra, besöker vi på denna turné även Sintra naturpark, omgiven av underbara träd, och njuter av magnifik utsikt i en förtrollande atmosfär.
Enorma klippor intill Atlanten och några stränder är också en del av denna naturpark, av denna anledning kommer vi också att cykla på toppen av klipporna och besöka några stränder, speciellt den underbara stranden Adraga, där det under varmare dagar kommer att vara möjligt att simma lite.
Detta är den västligaste punkten i Europa, att passera genom denna symboliska plats är en annan höjdpunkt på denna turné.
Fortfarande inom naturparken Sintra kommer vi att besöka en av de högsta punkterna i denna bergskedja, Santuario da Peninha, som har en helt underbar utsikt. På soliga dagar är det möjligt att se Lissabon, Cascais och hela Atlanten.
Detta är en av de mest kända stränderna i Portugal, känd för sina stora och kraftfulla vågor, den är utmärkt för surfing och vindsurfing.
Beläget mellan Serra de Sintra, Praia do Guincho och Vila de Cascais, hittar du denna plats, där havet ibland är så starkt att folk började kalla denna plats för helvetets mynning.
Denna stad blev mycket känd under andra världskriget, då många europeiska kungafamiljer kom för att bo här. Här cyklar vi nära havet, en autentisk blå sjö, nära underbara hus och hisnande landskap.

We had such a fun day. Maria was a wonderful guide. She took us to an adorable pastry shop to a treat early in the day. Gave us a choice between grabbing sandwiches to eat along the way or going to a restaurant for lunch. We picnicked in the forest. She spent an extra couple hours with us. No rush, just wanted everyone to have a good time.
Maria ensured we had an incredible adventure from gaining e-bike confidence to teaching us how to take the train to seeing just about every every angle of Sintra from sea level to a 1600 foot elevation gain. We exceeded our daily steps as well as e-biked over 20 miles. This excursion exceeded every expectation! Thank you, Maria!
Maria was our guide for the day and she was brilliant, giving us lots of facts for all of the areas we visited. The route was great, Sintra simply stunning. Loved the whole experience and would recommend to everyone!
We had gone on their 7 Hills ride the day before and It was amazing, and we were looking forward to this one to see more of Portugal outside of a Lisbon. Edwardo was amazing. Great history and sights and his knowledge of every area we went by and in was great. Castles, sandy beaches. amazing forest and homes too. We had lunch had a fabulous restaurant he recommended and it delivered. It will get its own review, but it was called Nicolau. Outstanding salads, tacos, sandwiches and more. Maria was an excellent tour guide. The day was better than I expected, challenges when we were off-road… beautiful when we were on pavement. Plenty of stops along the way as we desired, everything flexible. I highly recommend this E bike tour.

Miguel was a fantastic guide. Fun, informative and safely navigated crowds and traffic. Saw a variety of scenery we would not have seen any other way. The e-bikes exceeded expectations.

It was one of the best bike tours we have done! We got to choose to go off road or not. We chose to do off road and there wasn’t anyone else, and we were in a national forest. The food at lunch was phenomenal. I am not usually a sangria person, but it was great and refreshing! Just be prepared for wind blown sand near and at the first beach.

We booked an e-bike tour exploring Sintra and Cascais. Our guide was Maria from freebiketourslisbon.com. Maria was very knowledgeable and getting us on and off the train from Lisbon to Sintra and then back from Cascais was not an easy task. She was very safety conscious, which when riding a bike is very important to us. We stopped at a great little restaurant that was out of the way and Maria suggested a great meal. Great workout even on an e-bike! If you enjoy cycling this tour with Maria is highly recommended!

It's a pretty long day, lots of time on the train. But the park and the views are fantastic. The guide was nice, however she should have stuck to the time advertised. We got back too late.
Thank you for participating in the tour, and we're glad you enjoyed the route and the guide. The train journey takes about 35/40 minutes; the problem is that trains run less frequently on Sundays, which sometimes causes delays. On the other hand, the tour duration (8 hours) is indicative and may vary for several reasons, such as the weather, how everyone cycles, etc. Safety and comfort are always a priority. In any case, as we always try to improve, we will take your observations into account. Thank you
First of all this tour gave us far more than we ever imagined. Maria was an excellent leader and guide and she made sure we were always safe. We discovered and saw sights in the Sintra area from old town Sintra, to forests, back roads, mountain tops and beach’s. It was a wonderful full day of adventure. We biked over 50 km’s stopping for a coffee break and a lunch break all the perfect time. This is one of our most memorable and enjoyable guided tours we have been a part of. Would highly recommend.
