Avgår tidigt på morgonen mot Dar es Salaams sydstrand, bara 8 km från stadens centrum. Du kommer att hämtas från centrum och flyttas till Kigamboni på Dar es Salaams sydkust. Dhow-resan börjar runt 09:00 och återvänder till Kipepeo runt 16.30. Den använda båten är en traditionell dhow. Vi åker till Sinda Island Marine Reserve, där gästerna går runt ön och snorklar. Det är en mycket avslappnad resa som turister tycker mycket om. Efter snorkling serveras lunch på en öde strand på ön. Efter resan kommer du att flyttas tillbaka till Dar centrum. Det klara offshore-vattnet är hem för ett brett utbud av färgglada sjöstjärnor, tropiska fiskar och korallrev som ger utmärkt snorkling. Delar av delfiner följer ofta med dhowen på dess resa till öarna. Inkluderar: Transfer till och från Kipepeo Beach, bränsle, avgift för marinpark, picknick lunch, alkoholfria drycker och snorklingsutrustning
Sinda består faktiskt av "Inre" Sinda och "yttre" Sinda öar som ingår i en större korallrevformation. Formationen gör Sinda till en av de bästa öarna utanför Dar es Salaam för snorkling, omgiven av lapprev som rymmer en mängd olika arter som små clownfiskar och stora morrålar. Sinda Island är också känd som en lugn plats som gynnas av smekmånad och människor som bara njuter av en dagsutflykt med picknick. Det är cirka 15 km offshore men det är enkelt att komma dit, med båtar som avgår dagligen från Kipepeo-stranden och en chans att se delfiner på vägen.
Havsvattnet här är mycket rent, det finns inga stenar eller sjöborrar runt vilket gör det till en idealisk och säker strand för simning även vid lågvatten! Titta på fiskarna som seglar förbi i sina utställningar eller ta en promenad på stranden.

Sold as a private excursion in group reality. Those who took it from the hotel paid $45. Departure scheduled at 9 am actually started at 11.same things as the group 199 euros each more. Widely discouraged. Invitation to stop using get your guide
Absolutely fantastic experience. I am very impressed with Rama for organizing such a perfect trip. We were picked from Southern Sun Hotel at around 9.30 am, enjoying the views of the Dar city, Nyerere bridge....took a boat to Sinda Island with Omar who was our guide for the day. The island is stunningly beautiful, white sandy beaches and clear blue waters. We spent the late morning snorkeling with Omar had our packed lunch and had a siesta, explore the island in the afternoon before returning back to our hotel.
I went out snorkeling for the day. When coming to Tanzania I didn’t even know it was an option. The snorkeling was average, due to the reef conditions, but not unlike Punta Cana. However Sinda Island was so beautiful. While I was there, my guide (Omar), the boat driver, and a random fisherman with his son were the only people on the entire island. The weather was gorgeous with a light sea breeze and the white sand beach and torqoius water were the best. After snorkeling with Omar, we swam to the beach and took a tour of the island. No one lives on the island, but people are allowed to camp overnight. The lunch was ok, but that wasn’t the purpose of the trip. I would definitely recommend if you have a day to spend while In Dar es Salaam. It was also a little bit of an adventure getting there with the ferry ride.
Snorkeling was amazing. The water was perfect. Our guides were great, very friendly and accommodating. It was a very memorable experience for me and my 17 year old daughter. In addition to snorkeling, we hiked the entire island which made snorkeling even more amazing. Lunch on the island was fried chicken, fries, salad and cokes. Very enjoyable. The timi g of the trip was a full day which was perdect for my schedule. Highly recommended.
Whilst on a work trip I had the opportunity to do a day excursion. Instead of going to Zanzibar I thought I’d give a snorkeling trip a go. Positives: The people involved were extremely friendly and I can’t fault them. The use of the traditional dhow made for a fun experience. The actual island was beautiful and it was very quiet, not a single tourist there which was great. Negatives: The beach picnic lunch was non-existent - simply a pastry, banana and a warm coke. The reef is unfortunately not in amazing condition, like so many reefs. Overall I enjoyed the experience but it most certainly is not value for money.

A beautiful island and a lot of colorful and interesting fish in the ocean where we were snorkeling. The guides were friendly and let us do things at our own pace. Good lunch.
