En rundtur i den längsta belägringen i modern krigföring. Denna turné kommer att försöka förklara livet för en belejrad stad, de viktigaste händelserna och striderna, den politiska och strategiska situationen och berätta historien om varför och hur började kriget och sluta. Vi kommer att besöka Tunel DB, sniper nest och bobsledspåret. Från 1992 till början av 1996 var Sarajevo helt avskuren från resten av världen. Denna turné visar historien, politiken, strategin, syftet och galenskapen av den längsta belägringen i historien om modern krigföring. Hur bildade den bosniska armén? Hur stark var aggressorns armé? Hur började belägringen? Vad var de värsta grymheterna? Vad var det internationella samfundets roll? Hur försvarade borgarna i Sarajevo sig? Hur många projektiler slogs dagligen på staden? Svar på dessa och många fler frågor finns i denna turné.

Honestly an incredible trip with a guide who lives his job with passion and dedication. I was able to learn a lot about the history of a country that was unknown to me and which is now ingrained in my heart.
I went on a group trip through my university for 9 days with our tour guide Kenan. He was very knowledgeable on the history of Bosnia and he made our trip an experience of a lifetime. He took us all around the country and told us stories in every place we visited. Kenan went above and beyond by showing us the city after hours, and even taking us on a ski trip on his day off. If you are considering touring with Highlander Adventures, DO IT! You will not regret it.
This was an eye-opening experience that put you right in the middle of history. Our guide, Kenan, was extremely knowledgable and informative from sharing history, first-hand accounts, an overall concepts based on the Siege of Sarajevo. i couldn't learn enough.

A magnificent country with a rich and endearing history. Sarajevo is the most emblematic city I have visited so far, it is beautiful and indeed the Jerusalem of Europe. In addition, the guide explains the history of the city and the country very well, he knows Bosnia perfectly. So I recommend you to visit Bosnia, the city of Sarajevo, passing by Highlander Adventures;)
The giluides are super knowledgeable, and give a deep insight into the hisroty of the war in Sarajevo and Bosnia. Couldn't recommend it more. A must do tour when in Sarajevo!
