Shuttle Bus biljett till Kuang Si vattenfall

The driver was too dangerous - his driving was very fast and he scared most people on the bus- i had to get a Tuk Tuk back because I did not trust the driver. It is a road full off bends and he drove far to close to other vehicles ..!

This is a great way to get to the falls without having to join a group tour. The shuttle picked me up at my hotel a few minutes early (11:27am). After picking up the other travelers (8 in total) we arrived at the falls around 12:30pm. The driver told us to meet in the parking lot for the return trip at 3pm. I visited the bear sanctuary (it’s on the way to the falls), explored the falls, did the hike that goes behind them (there’s a gorgeous staircase waterfall that you can climb up as water rushes over your feet!!), and swam in two of the natural pools. If you want to do the hike and eat at the restaurant by the falls or in the welcome area you may want to consider a longer trip -the restaurants are very busy and I didn’t have time to eat because I chose the hike instead. Otherwise this is a decent amount of time to explore the falls.

While the waterfalls were beautiful, we were unfortunate enough to have a driver that ruined our experience. After stopping twice for petrol and to piss on the side of the road, he asked us to buy the tickets up to the waterfall via him. We only had dollars and weren’t made aware that we should buy tickets through the driver so kindly asked him that we buy our own tickets from the office at the Kuang Si site. When we arrived at the ticket office, he very rudely kicked us out of his van and when we asked for explanation as to how to get to the waterfall, he was reluctant to give us any direction. We weren’t sure that we would be able to get a lift back with him which meant we couldn’t fully enjoy our visit. Upon arriving back at the van 2.5 hours later, we double checked with him to see which van we were getting on to which he laughed in our face and questioned why we didn’t take a photo of the number plate. He dropped everyone else in the van off at their hostels but failed to notify us when we passed ours which meant we had to walk across town at the end of the day. Would recommend the waterfalls but do not book with this company.

Driver was too lazy to go pick me up on the other side of the river (they proposed the hotel on the pick up options). Drives too fast on a very back road, the was very unpleasant.

The waterfalls were gorgeous! The water was very "refreshing"...a little cool, but staying half a hour.

Everything promised was met. Good and punctual driver. Saw everything I wated to and did everything I wanted to.

The tour started on time, the driver was friendly and the van was in good condition. However, it was for from a "personalised service". The last passengers were seated on the classic Asian wooden "seats" in the car, meaning it was very cramped. The waterfall itself are of course a busy sight, but are worth the trip nonetheless.

Easy way to get to the waterfalls. Good amount of time to stay at the falls. Price is good. Two of the people on the booking arrived late at the meeting place and delayed everyone by 30 minutes. Rude and inconsiderate.

Not once but twice this tour company failed us. First, we booked a private airport transfer from Luang Prabang airport to our hotel on Nov 29, 2022 via Klook. We were told someone would be waiting for us when we exit the Arrivals Gate. After waiting for 1.5 hours, I realized that no one was coming. I had to ask a friendly local to call the company. Apparently, they had my booking confirmation but completely forgot to send a driver. Then, they finally sorted it out and got me a driver to my hotel. If I didn’t proactively ask help from people, I would have been stranded at the airport! Second was a tour we booked to visit Kuang Si waterfalls and Laos Buffalo Dairy on Dec 3, 2022 via Viator. When our driver picked us up from the hotel, he explained that because the tour was over-booked, he will drive us separately like a private tour. Great! But, apparently, there was miscommunication because both at the waterfalls and the dairy, they didn’t have our tickets or bookings at all and expected us to pay again. These tickets are expensive! We had to sit and wait for them to sort it out before we could go into these places. Considering how much more they charge on Klook and Viator, you aren’t getting good customer service and it seems Laos Group Tours doesn’t pay attention to the booking. My advice - book directly through the places or by your hotels if possible, not Laos Group Tours, Klook, or Viator. I really hope they improve because they are the only tour group company in Luang Prabang.

I booked it because 798 yen for a return van transfer is very cheap. By the way, a tour costs thousands of yen. I was worried that the car didn't show up at pick-up time, probably because of a miscommunication in the email reply, but I called the office and they immediately responded and picked me up. He drove me back to my hotel. The 20,000 keep admission fee to the waterfall was paid to the driver separately, so that's the only thing to be aware of.
