Shore Excursion: Underbar Heritage Day Cruise på Halong Bay

Beskrivning
Ha Long Bay Day-kryssningsturen kan ändras starttiden enligt kryssningsfartygets schema.

If you are in Halong Bay, everyone should do either a half day or full day tour of the Bay. Visit the limestone pillars, hike to the top of one, explore caves, visit a pearl farm, go on a bamboo boat or kayak and do an optional ride on a speedboat. Maximus travel is great at confirming details with your tourguide the day before so there are no issues with logistics. Highly recommend.
Probably one of the best tours I’ve ever taken with Viator and I have taken many. This tour is a Gem. If you are looking for the true Asian experience. We highly recommend this tour. You get taken to a cruise ship called ambassador that is very nice and they feed you almost nonstop and because we were the only Americans on the entire ship consisting of about 150 people they paid special to us to make sure we knew when it was time to eat and where to go when we were doing the rafting, part of the tour, etc. The tour guides were excellent, the food was authentic Chinese, and other cuisines, and the sides were some of the most amazing I have witnessed.
We had booked a tour to Hanoi, but decided the car trip from the port of Halong Bay was too long and we cancelled and booked this trip on the Bay itself instead. This turned out to be an excellent decision and provided us with a delightful day aboard the boat. Halong Bay is a remarkable UNESCO Heritage Site of a large archipelago of small unoccupied limestone islands. It is very beautiful and as our trip began in the mist aboard the DANG A, the views were almost mystical. The mist burned off and it turned into a fairly bright day. There were 4 stops in the day: a visit to a pearl culturing operation, a hike through a cave, a stop at a place that provided kayaks or rides in "bamboo" boats (what they are called, not what they are) to explore the LUON area, and lastly a visit to a beach with the opportunity to climb to the island's summit to get the view. At the first site, the steps down off the boat weren't manageable by two of us with some mobility limitations. This is a flaw that could be easily addressed with better steps and should be. But we enjoyed the day, the service on the boat, the beauty of the place and especially the ride in the bamboo boats. This excursion was relaxing and very enjoyable.
The pearl farm was fascinating. The explanation and demonstrations were really good. The other parts of the tour were somewhat soured by too many tourists and boats in the same places. The plastic pollution is a big problem.
Hi Ms. Deborah, Thank you again for booking this tour with us. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the cruise tour at Ha Long Bay. For plastic pollution, our government has a team to Clean & Clear it everyday. It's rarely to see them now at the bay. Sorry about that Ms. Deborah, the thing effects to your experience at Ha Long Bay. Thank you Ms. Deborah.
Johny our guide was great. Very engaging and knowledgeable plus arranged our stops so that we were not stuck in crowds. Every stop was engaging and very much fun. We saw a lot of Hue Long bay with a generous lunch. Highly recommended,
Very interesting and beautiful place to visit. Too bad it was so cold that we couldn’t swim or kayak. Our guide Mr. Johnny was very attentive and considerate. 👍🏾
This day was the best experience of our SE Asia trip! Johnny was our guide and he was so nice and personable. Our ship crew was also great. We loved seeing the highlights of Ha Long Bay and where we started this tour in the morning we got to avoid the crowds at some of the locations. We had a delicious and HUGE traditional Vietnamese meal on board between site seeing. The timing of this tour worked with our Cruise arrival/departure schedule which was so nice.
Johnny and the boat crew looked after us from start to finish. the food on the boat was very tasty and the toilet facilities were nice and clean
A very good experience - would recommend to fellow travellers. The Tour Operator has provided very good information and directions prior to the trip. On the day of the trip, everything was well organised and the service provided was very good. We were taken to see many things and we particularly like the buffet lunch on the cruise.
Ha Long Bay is beautiful but it is not the secluded beaches, bays and waterways you see in photos. It is jam packed with people and boats. Because its one of the natural wonders of the world its a must see but expect to be sharing it with others. The tour company Maximus Travel Vietnam delivered on exactly as advertised and the guide spoke english well and very informative
