Fantastic experience overall. Met at an easy to find spot to start the tour and went around Shinjuku and Shibuya. Pictures came out great and being 1v1 with the photographer was great. Photographer was extremely nice and had a good eye for pictures. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting and want a good photographer that is very reasonably priced.

Gota was amazing! We didn’t know what to expect with the tour, but his hospitality set us all at ease. I enjoyed the knowledge and tips he shared about this beautiful city. From the moment we met, Gota effortlessly navigated us through the busy streets and crowds of Tokyo, making the entire experience feel relaxed and seamless. He even took us on the local train, which added an authentic touch to the tour and made us feel like we were exploring the city with a local friend rather than just following a guide. One of my favorite moments was when he treated us to a drink at a beautiful bar, where we had a chance to relax while he walked us through the plan for the next couple of hours. We had such an amazing experience with Gota! From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. He gave us clear, natural posing directions that made the photos look effortless, even though we’re not used to being photographed😅 Beyond taking incredible pictures, Gota shared so much about Tokyo throughout the shoot! Gota captured amazing shots of my son and I on our trip to Tokyo. Our favorites were the ones with Godzilla, the crossing, and the ones only a great photographer would know would come out great. He suggested poses and gave us a nice history of all the places we stopped by. Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting!!

If you are looking for a leisurely tour where you get plenty of time to see the sights and learn about the history, I would suggest you find another tour. HOWEVER, if you would like amazing photos with a delightful photographer and fun facts about the culture, this is an amazing experience that is worth every last penny. It was raining the day of our tour, and Gōta-San offered us options to reschedule if we would prefer. Because we didn't have a lot of wiggleroom for readjusting our schedule, we requested that we move forward with the tour and Gōta-san was willing and able to take pictures of us in the rain. He was soaking wet, but he still offered me his umbrella both for cover from the rain, and because it would be better for the photos. The tour itself was very quick, efficient and fast-paced. After getting to know Gōta-san over small talk and a drink, we were quickly off. Gōta-san guided us through the busy streets of Shinjuku, and occasionally stopped to show us a place and offer a quick cultural fun fact. While I won't write them out here because of spoilers, some of those facts were things that we have been talking about since the tour because it's so interesting! Then, Gōta-san would stop us at a location, describe the shot that he would be taking, gave us example poses and showed us where he would be shooting from. After a few shots, we would be off to the next location. Some of the pictures were serious, others were fun and silly! Gōta-san is a wonderful photographer, and was an effective guide to help us take pictures. While my partner needed no help posing, I was a little more uncertain and needed guidance; Gōta-san was encouraging and provided suggestions on how to hold myself. Even if you're not used to posing for pictures, you will have no problems whatsoever. The pictures we got were amazing! They were dynamic and dramatic, and looks like they could be part of a movie. I'm looking forward to getting them professionally printed and framed—which is a lot coming from me, because I usually really dislike how I look in pictures. Above all, Gōta-san was a delight. I really enjoyed his energy and talking to him. He was kind enough to buy us tea at the end of the tour, and went above and beyond for us in the rain. We had a wonderful experience with amazing keepsakes, and would absolutely look at booking Gōta-san again.
