Kelly made dinner reservations for our group at Lost Heaven and with knowledge of our likes/dislikes helped us to order a delicious meal. We had a good laugh with the surprise in the restaurant's bathroom. :-) The evening Bund cruise was definitely a highlight. Kelly arranged for us to have a VIP experience ... we got to view the spectacular Bund lights from the front of the boat! It was a memorable night!
A sequence of events: 1. Confirmed tour with prompt service and communication. 2. Picked up from our hotel. 3. Greeted by our kind guide Kelly that made us feel right at home and special. 4. Headed to various areas of Shanghai prior to our cruise. As we drove around Kelly so vividly described the culture, architect and history of Shanghai. 5. Yummy soup dumplings and hot and sour soup for dinner. 6. Drove us to the river cruise to see the modern skyline that was truly unremarkable. 7. Continued with more information and wonderful conversations on history. A real appreciation of Shanghainese cultural. 8. Returned us to our hotel room. All in all a must see and do. As foreigners who don't know the language we were thankful for the private transportation and the help to translate. Kelly is amazing. So knowledgeable and friendly. I know we have made a friend in China and again truly recommend this experience.
