Du hittar dina nya lurviga vänner här i en vacker hamn på sluttningarna av en utdöd vulkan och förbises av klippiga vulkankullar. Shamarra Alpacas ligger drygt en timmes bilresa (73 km) från Christchurch Central, och bara 20 minuters resa från den historiska kustbyn Akaroa, som är värd att besöka enbart för sin kultur och arkitektur. Vår panoramautsikt över Akaroa Harbor och de böljande kullarna och topparna i de omgivande dalarna är hisnande och kommer att göra var och en av dina selfies med en alpacka post-värdig. Vi har öppet året runt, med landskapet som förändras vackert under varje säsong och alpackorna förblir söta hela tiden. Despite the poor weather, our visit to Shamarra Alpacas was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The alpacas were beautiful, friendly, and clearly very well cared for. Even with the rain, we had a wonderful time meeting and feeding them, and the stunning surroundings still made for a memorable visit. It’s obvious how much love and passion goes into this place. We left with big smiles and some amazing memories. I highly recommend Shamarra Alpacas to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience—rain or shine!

It was lovely to pet the alpacas. But there was no info on the shearing of the alpacas nor how the wool was processed. It was basically only petting the alpacas tour which was nice but would have preferred more info on the alpacas and wool processing etc. The staff is nice and there are lovely alpaca products which are nice.
Our staff would have answered your questions if you had raised them. Shearing of the Alpaca only occurs once a year and is only a small part of our yearly farm cycle which is why its not included in the tour presentation delivered at the beginning of any tour. Thanks for noticing we have friendly staff!

Fun experience to get up close and personal with alpacas. The staff was friendly and helpful. They explained what to do at each paddock.

It was fun, however one of the guide seems not really friendly and insist us to move while we still enjoying taking picture with the cute alpacas :)
Our tour times are restricted to 1 hour in duration, with approximately 45 minutes of interaction with the alpacas. It's unfortunate you didn't think that was long enough. We do hope you managed to capture some memorable photos with the cute alpacas.
Chinese guide is very careful! This tour includes parking spaces, so friends who are driving have absolutely no need to worry. Not only that, the Chinese guide will also help to take photos, not worry about not having a photo match with the lamb! Add cake and juice, without worrying about starving or thirsty. Cute and cute!

An informative tour with absolutely wonderful interaction with the Alpacas. Guides are knowledgeable, helpful and so friendly. The alpacas themselves are so placid and beautiful.
