Resplan

A wonderful day trip from Yerevan! Although all the places we visited were beautiful and interesting, the best part of the tour was Nektar who is so warm, kind and professional. She taught me SO much about Armenian history, the country, the people and the way she talks and presents the information was just perfect - this is the kind of tour guide I like and wish was on every tour in every country! Thank you to Nektar and our driver for a memorable and fun first day in Armenia ❤️

Would NOT recommend for a non-Russian speaking solo traveller. I’m not saying the tour is bad for groups/Russian speakers but unless you want to be isolated and clueless 80% of the time this tour is not for you. Firstly the tour is advertised as English/Russian. How it works is the guide explains in English then Russian. It is not separated. However, the English version is very basic and much shorter. I do speak/understand a little Russian which I did not inform the guide as I felt it was irrelevant since I signed up in English, thus I know the English version was lacking. This also means that you’re sat there not understanding anything a lot of the time. Also as 90% of the guests were Russian speaking, overall the tour was 80% in Russian. Even when the winery guide was doing the English parts the Yerani guide Sam would joke and laugh in Russian at the side. It was extremely rude and distracting. No fault to the guests, it is not their responsibility to create an inclusive environment. At the monastery, the guide did the explanation in Russian first and told me to wait and come back in 15min. I walked around a bit, came back early and waited at the side for them to finish. The whole group went outside and I thought the guide would return for the English part but he was nowhere to be found. Thus the entire hour I was alone with zero explanation about where I was. Since there was only me and another couple for the English portion there’s no way he just didn’t notice I wasn’t there. Especially as he told me to walk around and come back. The operations side was also poorly handled. First no clear instructions were giving regarding the location and time of the pick up. I had to email in to ask. The minivans are also unmarked. Our minivan then had a problem and we had to change vehicles 15min into the journey. There weren’t enough seats at the back and someone had to go to the front. The guide also was unaware that I had already selected and paid for my meal online when I made the booking.
We were on a nine-hour tour with driver Marat and guide Samwell. Time has flown under the radar, the driver and guide are very positive, open, friendly. Said the guide was very interesting, with notes of humor. We're thrilled.

The tour guide and driver were great, This wine tasting tour is good if you like spirits. We had the meal and the wine tasting at the same Wine making factory if thats the right word. I especially liked the apricot vodka and the mulberry vodka, the 7 year old conac was the best but I think it's expensive to buy a bottle. I had a great time and felt a bit tipsy afterwards but I had energy to hike up the hill to to the church near lake Sevan afterwards. I got some good photos for social media.
Dear guest, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the tour, the guide and driver, and had a fun wine tasting experience — especially the apricot and mulberry vodka and the 7-year-old cognac. It’s great that you had time and energy to continue exploring and even hike up to the church near Sevanavank Monastery, and capture some great photos for your memories. We really appreciate your review and hope to welcome you again for more enjoyable experiences in Armenia!
I have done 3 tours with them: - Khor Virap, Echmiadzin, Zvartnots with Anahit; - Sevan, Dilijan, Wine tour in Ijevan with Rubyna; - Garni, Geghard, Symphony of Stones, Lavash Baking with Rubyna; Good organization from the agency, everything was good. About the guide, Anahit was excellent but Rubyna was bad. They have to talk in 2 languages (English and Russian). Each time, Anahit take the English group to explain (with free time for the Russian group) and then the Russian group (with free time for the others). It was wonderful. Rubyna, instead, always took the whole group together and explained first in English and then in Russian. We waste a lot of time and then we have less free time for pictures and walking around by ourselves. 4 stars for this
Today I was lucky enough to go on an excursion with highly qualified staff. He spoke English and the guide tried to help me in every way, even trying to speak a little Italian. Beautiful places, maximum organization and great professionalism.
Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful review. We are truly pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience and felt well supported throughout the excursion. It is wonderful to know that the guide’s effort to communicate in multiple languages helped make your journey more comfortable and enjoyable. We are also glad that you appreciated the beauty of the locations, as well as the organization and professionalism of the tour. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and we sincerely hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the future.
