Serengeti från himlen Varje flygning är en annan resa som dikteras av vindriktningen, där syner och ljud stiger från marken för att möta dig. Vi vet var vi har börjat men vi vet inte var vi kommer att återvända till jorden. Det här är en del av äventyret. Ibland kommer korgen att försiktigt borsta grästopparna och sedan klättra, klättra genom lagren av luft tills du är tillräckligt hög för att se horisontens kurva, målade guld och rosa av den tidiga solen.Våra piloter har inte bara många års erfarenhet av att utnyttja den afrikanska vinden utan är också tolkar av de vilda liven i ebb och flöde av landskapet nedanför. Omkring en timme efter att du lyft upp i himlen, kommer korgen tillbaka till Serengetis slätter.

Your day will start before the sunrises but you will not worry about any of that within a few hours. The crew will pick you up at your lodge. You will experience a “night” game drive in those early morning hours. It will be amazing. Then you will arrive at the launch site. That in itself will be amazing and exciting as they ready the balloons for launch. The sun will rise and you will be in awe. Once you receive your briefing and load up it will be up, up and away. You will not believe your eyes taking in the landscape and wildlife from above. We could hear the trumpeting of the elephants below. Upon landing you will not believe it is over. No worries you will be toasting champagne in the bush. But the second game drive begins from this point to another rally point out in the bush the team set up for breakfast. The food will be fresh and delicious. The pilots will present your certificates and offer some merch for sale if you wish to indulge. The third game drive will begin as the guides either return you to the rest of your group or lodge.

My first ever hot air balloon experience. The weather was fantastic with a beautiful sunrise while going up. Felt very safe with our pilot Frank. He has lots of experience and did a fantastic job. We were able to spot numerous animals; never seen so many hippos in a pool! It’s not cheap but so worth the money. Champagne after landing and a delicious fresh breakfast. Unforgettable experience!
