The guide could hardly speak German. With the prior contact, it was clear that we were in South Korea for the first time. We actually wanted a city tour with history. But there was no clear program.
Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Ihre Erfahrung in Seoul nicht Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Da Sie bei der Buchung den Wunsch geäußert hatten, vor allem einen Eindruck vom alltäglichen Leben und dem Trubel der Stadt zu bekommen, wurde die Tour gezielt als ein solcher authentischer Spaziergang gestaltet. Wir bedauern jedoch sehr, dass die Sprachkenntnisse des Lokafyers nicht optimal waren und es dadurch zu Missverständnissen bezüglich des Programms kam. Wir nehmen Ihr Feedback sehr ernst und werden diesen Fall intern prüfen, um die Abstimmung unserer lokalen Partner künftig zu verbessern. Vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung
Walking walking around with Shim in Seoul is like walking around with an old friend. His reviews have not disappointed and he literally saw them through & Then some! He tailor made our tour to be K-pop demon Hunters related for myself and my four year old - and he was super kind to our little girl in general. He included lots of history, pop cultire, and in four hours I saw so much and saw stiff we never would have done on my own, on our little Layover from Japan to LDN. I particularly recommend him for layovers for quick sightseeing. I know he works for a few companies, so I will save you the time of research Loki is the cheapest way to book Shim's services. BUT --Make sure you tip him well and ignore what they say about tipping being rude in Korea - it isn't the case tour guides. Chris was an excellent guide. We selected 4 hours so spent the afternoon seeing mostly traditional areas in Seoul but also some more modern things too. We relied on Chris to advise us only suggesting one place ourselves. She was very knowledgeable, great English and it was a really perfect start to our time in S Korea!
