Prejean, ett efternamn av Franska ursprung, är grundarfamiljens namn. Prejean Winery grundades av James och Elizabeth (Jim & Libby) Prejean. Jim Prejean föddes i Carencro, Louisiana som är en del av det Franska området i Louisiana. Prejean är ett Franska cajunnamn som är vanligast i sydvästra Louisiana, men mer ovanligt på andra ställen i USA. Prejean Winery har för närvarande cirka 30 hektar aktiva vingårdar där vi odlar tretton druvsorter. Vinifera odlas bland annat Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc och Merlot. Hybridsorter som odlas inkluderar Traminette, Vignoles, Cayuga, Valvin Muscat, Marechal Foch, Noiret och Corot Noir. Alla Prejean Wines är godsodlade och producerade.
Ventosa : Du kommer att smaka på en mängd olika smaker som finns i Ventosas viner när du förundras över utsikten över vingårdarna och Seneca Lake. Vinprovningsupplevelsen på Ventosa Vineyards är oöverträffad. Njut av ett glas vin medan du har utsikt över 23 - acre egendom på nordöstra stranden av sjön Seneca. En härlig lunch serveras på Ventosa's Cafe Toscana på Small & Mighty plus Lunch tour. Lunchen är ett fast erbjudande av produkter från Cafe Toscanas meny inklusive wraps, pizzor, sallad & en panino. På söndag byter vi ut Cafe på Fox Run Winery mot Cafe Toscano.
Vinkällare för sockerrör & vinrankor Mike och Jayne Gibbs, ett man-och-hustru-team, öppnade Can & Vine Wine Cellars 2025 och utökade sin portfölj tillsammans med Toast Winery på södra änden av Seneca Lake. Ett vin Mike är särskilt glad över är hans bentorra Cayuga White. Även om denna sort ofta produceras i en sötare stil, var årgången 2023 så exceptionell när den gjordes bentorr att han valde att buteljera den. Han tycker också om att tillverka naturviner (pét-nat). Can & Vine kommer att erbjuda en Dry Sparkling Rosé av Marquette gjord i pastej-nat stil.
Anländ till denna charmiga banbrytande egendom på 100 hektar av den nordvästra stranden av Seneca Lake. Smaka igenom den skapade portföljen av Anne & John Martini. Med hjälp av vänner och familj planterade de de första druvorna, alla hybridsorter, 1973. En rad viner produceras – från torrt till efterrätt – med en rad smaker utformade för att tillfredsställa både finsmakare och tillfälliga avicionados.

From the moment we were collected, by mini van at our holiday home, we knew we were in safe hands with Ron. Ron was knowledgeable and keen to teach us all about the Finger Lake area & all it has to offer. Ron is an absolute gentleman and I would highly recommend taking one of these winery tours. The 4 wineries we visited were all excellent with various flight tasting options, at each vineyard, we had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Excellent value for money.

We did the Castle Views and windy waters tour with 4 stops. Our guide Donna was great, particularly as another guide was scheduled for our tour but cancelled due to health issues minutes before pickup. Crush did their best to find another driver and Donna came to the rescue! Donna was knowledgeable and friendly. She kept us on schedule and also gave us space to enjoy the tasting experiences. Would have booked another tour if I had a longer stay. She had waters in the van for us-greatly appreciated.

Excellent experience and Ron is a terrific guide . We went at a relaxed pace and met the owners and staff of 4 local wineries , who explained their wines in nice detail , great group of people we went with as well . Had lunch , enjoyed the scenery , it was a perfect afternoon

My boyfriend and I joined six other guests on this tour and LOVED it. Christy was our wine navigator and she was great. Each vineyard had a unique tasting and a gorgeous view. We spent plenty of time at each winery, allowing time to taste, but glasses and relax. 10/10 would do this tour again on our next trip to Geneva.

Good selection of wineries. Appreciated having the water to rinse in between tastings at some of the vineyards. Nice that it was kept to a small group as we had time to have good conversations during the tour.

I tried to rectify this complaint with Viator, no luck. They didn’t want to help. This trip was overpriced and a terrible experience. We attended 4 - 15 minute testings. We had transportation but had to travel to meet the bus. We traveled approximately 5 miles, at best. We were finished in 3 hours. Just a horrible waste of good money. Nothing like they advertised. Don’t do this trip. Total rip off.
