Du kommer ut på vägen och stranden på denna roliga 3 timmars tur. När du ger dig ut kommer du omedelbart att möta utsikten över den majestätiska Mendenhall-glaciären. Kryssa längs kusten och gör flera stopp för foton medan du tar in det orörda vattnet i Lynn Canal, en del av Inside Passage. Eftersom du är på en Segway kommer du att ha möjlighet att intimt interagera med naturen. Lyssna efter örnens rop under flygning, vågorna som sveper längs kusten och kanske till och med spionera på en och annan knölval. Hoppa sedan av din Segway och gå en kort 7 minuters spår till en avskild strand för att njuta av enklare förfriskningar. Fördjupa dig i Tongass National Forest, en tempererad regnskog och den största nationalskogen i USA.

Amazing fun!! Guides Dan and Serena were fun, informative, patient and gave our family of 4 adults excellent instruction for our first time use of Segways. Easy pick up in rainy Juneau but there were sunny skies on north Douglas Island where the tour took place. It was so nice to step away from the bustle of Juneau into the quiet beauty of Douglas Island! Great views of Mendenhall Glacier from across the channel too! Highly recommend!!
This was so much fun! Our tour guides were so professional and friendly and funny! We have done Segway tours before and this was one of the best. Highly recommend!

Fun! Scenic! Informative! Carli, our guide was bubbly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Segways were smooth and so easy to ride. Saw too many bald eagles to count. Could spend all day !

We have always enjoyed Segway tours. What an amazing machine. Our cruise ship called in at Juneau and we booked the Segway forest tour. Overall, we really enjoyed it. Guides Alta and Phoenix were outstanding and wonderful hosts, being most welcoming and courteous. Alta was a great communicator. In a first for me on a Segway tour, each Segway had a radio attached to it so we could enjoy Alta's fascinating commentary throughout the tour. What worked well: excellent guiding and well maintained vehicles; the Segway travel was well supervised alongside a quite road on an island; we learned many interesting things during our walk into the forest thanks to great commentary. It was a great tour. What could be improved: if you are looking for an off-road adventure on a Segway, this trip is probably not for you. The Segways are driven more or less in a straight line along the side of a road. This didn't bother me as the scenery was outstanding and the walking tour into the forest was really enjoyable. Going in a straight line was sufficient to give me my Segway 'fix'.

The Coastal Segway Tour along Douglas Island follows a scenic coastal route with beautiful views of the glacier and the surrounding Alaskan mountains, many of which you mentioned you loved during your visit. Our Alpine Segway Tour is a more adventure-focused experience set in the rainforest on a cross-country ski trail. This route is off-road and allows guests to ride directly through the forest environment, offering a very different perspective of Southeast Alaska’s wilderness. It’s designed for those looking for a more rugged and immersive Segway experience, while still being fully guided and supported throughout. Many guests are looking for different types of experiences, which is why we offer both Segway tours. Both options offer something unique, and we always encourage guests to choose based on the experience that best fits what they’re hoping to do. A Segway voyage along a road adjacent to the ocean and a forest. Lasted a couple hours. Phoenix is a great guide with tons of knowledge about the local flora and fauna. We also took a short hike through a dense, lush forest with a hiking trail. We photographed bald eagles, porcupines, woodpeckers, Jay's. and a great view of Mendenhall glacier. I highly recommend!
