A really fun experience as a first-time diver

Wow, what an experience. Without any previous experience with diving, we went to try this. Olga and Nevena were great and polite and set us up with necessary paperwork and equipment. Marin, our instructor (my daughter calls him GOAT), was incredible, thoroughly explaining all the required details and being patient while we were going through every stage of the process. I had issues with my mask due to mustaches and had difficulty with amount of air, which he checked, explaining what to adjust, what to try differently, and even after small panic and thinking about giving up, he calmed me down and set me up to continue. Once I was ready, we had an incredible dive. Marin was going slow so we could experience everything, feeding fish, holding sea urchins, sea stars, and old Roman parts of amphora. After that, we simply had to go for a second dive. Unfortunately, Marin was not available, so the other instructor was not as patient but rather bit pushy. I had a similar problem with my mask, and he didn't have patience and calmness to resolve the issue, so instead of having a family dive, I returned to the boat. My kids continued, but much less things were shown and fewer photos taken. He was a good instructor for more experienced divers, not for beginners. Anyway, the whole Orca centre deserves a best review. Hope to see you guys again.

After waiting for many years to experience scuba diving, I took the course with Orca. I don't fear the heights, but for going under water I had to have great trust into my instructor. So, few years ago my long time friend and business owner Olga together with her team of great instructors took me into my life adventure! It was absolutely amazing and so rewarding! Although I am not regular scuba diver, I can't wait to dive again and see the world from the perspective that is for sure life changing. Thanks to everyone and have another great season. It was such a nice experience! As the course was for beginners, we did not know what to expect. Our instructor was so helpful and explained everything we needed to know and what to do. When we went scuba diving she showed us many things in the water and checked if everything was okay with us. would really recommend!

Theoretical introduction is in English, German or other languages. Takes about 1 hour to dress with equipment. The dive takes 45 minutes. The guide shows you everything and pays attention to you. During diving you can also move around freely. All in all, I can only recommend the course for Beginners. Various qualifications are also offered. For example, the Open Water Dive ticket lasts 3-6 days, depending on how much time you have and costs just under 500€.

Really professional crew with a variety of options for dives. We did a basic dive right outside the location and saw lots of cool things, and a dive with boat to some nearby caves with Marin. I really recommend doing this if you like scuba diving. They also take pictures and videos and mail them afterwards. 5/5 ⭐️
