En pittoresk bilresa längs Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet kommer att erbjuda dig hisnande vyer medan du är på väg till en av de bästa attraktionerna i södra centrala Alaska - Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center! Vi guidar dig genom denna vilda fristad medan vi delar med oss om de skadade och föräldralösa vilda djuren i deras vård; du kommer också att ha lite ledig tid att gå runt på egen hand. Den här resan är cirka en timme varje väg till vildmarkscentret med cirka 1,5-2 timmar vid själva centret, totalt en 4-timmars pedagogisk rundtur med spektakulära landskap hela vägen!

Vi kommer att köra längs med Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet längs den vackra Seward Highway; vi kommer att göra ett speciellt fotostopp.
Vi passerar Beluga Point på Cook Inlet där vi kommer att titta efter Beluga Whales & Dall Sheep (om det är rätt tid på säsongen) och njuta av spektakulär utsikt över havet och bergen. Om tiden tillåter gör vi ett stopp.
Vi kör över denna berömda fiskebäck, och om det är rätt tid på säsongen, kan vi se fiskare längs med stränderna i hopp om att fånga silverlax.
Om vädret tillåter kan vi upptäcka några hängande dalglaciärer i bergstopparna på vår bilresa vid slutet av Turnagain-armen!
Vår främsta attraktion är den fantastiska icke-vinstdrivande vilda fristaden som har rehabiliterat och gett ett evigt hem för några skadade och föräldralösa vilda Alaska-djur. Vi kommer att tillbringa cirka 1,5+ timmar på centret. Hälften kommer att guidas och hälften kommer att vara ledig tid att utforska på egen hand.

Our guide David was amazing! He was extremely kind and knowledgeable!We made several extra stops to view special features ! Highly recommend!

Great excursion . the ride to the animals was awesome. It really helped to have someone to guide us through the animal preservation site. It is very large and Alex navigated us very well through to see the animals up close . they seemed well taken care of and content . we enjoyed our tour with Alex. She was fun and full of information. I really appreciated that even though the group was only 2 of us that day they did not cancel our trip. We are very glad we took this trip and the drive is very famous and one of the best drives in North America. I think if we had tried to do this on our own we would have missed a lot. Be sure to come layered for all types of weather. As in Alaska it can change in a minute. the van was very comfortable. thank you Alex for a great morning .
We took the Wildlife Tour and our guide was David, the owner of Frontier Tours. He was very personable and knowledgeable. The Wildlife Center was very interesting. On the road back to Anchorage, we were stopped due to a fatal accident which meant no way to return to Anchorage for hours. He turned the fan around and headed us back the way we’d come and took us to several really cool places. He turned what could have been a long wait in a non-moving line into a fun adventure. If you are in Anchorage, this is the tour company you want to use,

David was fantastic! On the way out he spot whales and we pulled over to view them. He is so knowledgeable about the Alaskan wildlife and previewed what we were about to see - I’ve travelled the globe and he is at the top of his field!

David was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable about the state of Alaska and the Wildlife Center. We really appreciated the hotel pickup option. This tour is a great way to get out of the city to see some beautiful scenery and animals.
David did an excellent job in explaining everything we were passing and it’s history about the areas we are in the time, he spoke to everyone in the party personally and made it very comfortable in this tour we would recommend this tour to everyone to book. I will book this again when I go through here, I really wish there was a higher rating then excellent because David really deserves a higher rating. I hope this helps you on your next trip decision
