Det finns en anledning till att mangrovetunnlarna i Lido Key är en upplevelse man måste göra när man besöker Gulf Coast. Vi lanserar från Ted Sperling Nature Park (190 Taft Dr Sarasota FL) som har rena toaletter, en sköljdusch och skuggade picknickbord. Våra fantastiska lokala guider från Sea Life Kayak Adventures tar dig med på en rundtur i Little Sarasota Bay, där du kan se sjökor, delfiner, en mängd olika fåglar och havsliv ... avsluta sedan i de berömda mangrovetunnlarna, ett vackert tak som slingrar sig genom en ö. Turen tar vanligtvis cirka 2 timmar, men vi har inte ett strikt schema, så vänligen räkna med en extra halvtimme. Vi ligger bara några minuter från centrala Sarasota, 20 minuter från Siesta Key och en halvtimme från Anna Maria Island och Bradenton (lägg till tid för trafik under högsäsong. This was a truly wonderful experience. The tunnels were beautiful and our discovery of manatees fulfilled my dream. My guide, Joan, imparted exceptional information on everything from plant and animal biology, history, ecology and geology to the Fibonacci series throughout the entire trip. He was accommodating and extraordinarily knowledgeable. The tour was the highlight of my trip and I could not recommend them more highly.

Joann was an excellent guide. His knowledge of the ecology of the mangroves and bay as well as Sarasota was very interesting and informative. His humor also made it entertaining.
Highly recommend kayaking the mangroves through sea life kayaking rentals and tours. We had an amazing time. Great kayak for rent. Would do again and again.

Very cool kayaking adventure through the mangroves and along the bay. Saw fish, seagulls, little crabs, and all sorts of Florida fauna. Interesting to hear the history of the area and experience the mangrove tunnels.
