Passera Odori Park, som ligger i den centrala stadsdelen Sapporo Odori Park är en oas i ett kontorsdistrikt omgivet av 92 arter av syrener, haru almar och andra 4 700 träd. Både besökare och boende njuter av avkoppling på gräsmattan och runt fontänen. Odori Park är egentligen en väg, även om den kallas en park. 1871 (Meiji 4) byggdes en brandgata som delade Sapporos centrum från norr till söder, som blev en väg som hette Goshidori, och namnet ändrades till Odori. Normalt en plats för avkoppling och rekreation, är det också platsen för några av Hokkaidos mest kända händelser. Odori Park sträcker sig från öst till väst och är indelad i 12 kvarter från 1-chome till 12-chome, varje kvarter åtskilda av ett övergångsställe. Avståndet från ena änden av Odori Park till den andra är ca 1,5 km, och det tar ca 30 minuter att gå.

I had a wonderful evening with the group and especially with Midori as our guide, we visited some fantastic local bars and izakayas. She is an absolute angel, anyone who books Midori will have an incredible experience.
My husband and I did the tour with Midori, and we had a most wonderful time! First, the food was delicious: we went to three different izakaya and had sashimi, fried chicken, a salad, gyoza, and oyster. We were given menus at each restaurant and were able to choose what we wanted to eat. More importantly, though, the company was amazing! Midori is a gracious host and she soon had our group laughing and talking as if we were old friends. In fact, it was hard to say goodbye after our evening together. I highly recommend this tour: not only will you eat delicious food but you will make new friends!

Hide was a fun and gracious host. We went to three different places and had more than enough delicious food, and drinks at each spot. None of us could actually finish everything since we were so full! You should come hungry and ready to drink. We were a group of seven people who did not know each other before, but by the end, we were laughing together and had a great time.
