Njut av en heldagstur som utforskar Santiagoöns inland och kust – det bästa sättet att upptäcka Kap Verdes kultur, historia och landskap. Efter morgonhämtning, res till São Domingos, Órgãos och Picos för att beundra imponerande berg. Fortsätt till Assomada City för att besöka den lokala marknaden och uppleva det dagliga livet på ön. Stanna till vid Boa Dentro för att se det största och äldsta trädet på Kap Verde, det 700 år gamla kapokträdet. Besök naturparken Serra Malagueta för hisnande utsikter från 1 000 meter över havet. Bege dig till Tarrafal City för att utforska det historiska koncentrationslägret, koppla av på Tarrafal Beach och njut av tid för bad och lunch. På eftermiddagen kör ni längs östkusten till byn Rabelados, och fortsätter sedan genom Calheta till Pedra Badejo för att se landets största bananplantage. Denna tur kombinerar natur, kultur, historia och strandtid för en autentisk upplevelse på Santiagoön.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour with a safe driver and knowledgeable guide. Eddie the guide went out of his way to ensure we good insight into the way of life on the island.

Edmilson has been very kind and careful in driving me around the Island stopping any time I asked for. Also some places are not to miss on this day tour: Assomada, Tarrafal, Serra de Malagueta, Rabaledos village and all the glimpes of rural areas and people along the route. Do not forget to take a look at Pico de Antonia silhouette on the way back to Praia when the sun is about to set.

Fabulous day-tour around the island with a dedicated, knowledgeable guide, Eddie. We completed a comprehensive circuit from Praia up to the north, then back south via the western side of the island. Eddie's English is superb and he does all he can to make the tour as interesting and exciting as possible. If you're planning to visit other islands, get in touch with Eddie or his colleagues to get the latest on inter-island travel options as they're hard to figure out from abroad.
