This was an amazing experience! Carlos is very knowledgeable and was great at communicating everything throughout the excursion. It was my first time sand boarding (with very little snowboarding experience) and Abraham was a really great teacher! Would definitely recommend!
DO. THIS. TOUR! Carlos and Abraham were great guides and instructors. This tour is only 1 hour from Miraflores, and you have the dunes to yourselves! Not another person the whole time. The 4x4 ride out to the boarding spot is super fun, and then you get oriented to the board. Falling on sand is soft, and you can go as fast or slow as you want. Carlos is very knowledgeable about the whole area, and speaks great English. Abraham has a great way with adults and kids alike, and took loads of photo and video on my camera. I would highly recommend any adventure the offer!
Great unique experience. I was nervous at first but the guide was so patient . By end it was sooo fun. My college ages kids of course picked it up quickly. It’s a workout though!!
My husband and I had the best experience on this sandboarding tour. We started with some fun off-roading in the dunes. Our instructor was so kind and patient as I was a little nervous starting out. I’d never sand boarded before. I cannot recommend this tour enough if you want to have a great time!! They had all the gear we needed. Thank you both for the adventure :)

I did this tour solo with Carlos and Abraham, I had an amazing time. Carlos is an excellent driver and we made it to the best spot on the dunes no problem. Abraham was a very good teach and his tips quickly helped me pick up sandboarding, which I had never done before. They also showed my a 4x4 bus from another tour group and let me sit in the cab. 10/10 experience, I highly recommend Carlos & Abraham. They gave me some excellent restaurant recommendations too!
This sandboarding tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The guides were incredible, super friendly, patient, and really skilled at teaching us the techniques in a way that felt easy and fun. They kept the energy high the entire time, making the experience not just exciting but genuinely entertaining. What really stood out was how much effort they put into helping us capture the moment. They took amazing photos and videos, making sure we had the perfect shots while still keeping everything safe and smooth. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this is a must-do. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
Amazing day out!! Both carlos and the instructor were great vibes and I went from being awful to getting down the dunes! Instructor great at capturing everything on your mobile too. Truly a great experience!
A fantastic experience! Never sandboarded before, but Carlos and Abraham made it especially special and their rapport was great. Very prompt and understanding from pickup to the experience to the dropoff. There is absolutely nothing to worry about—now go have some fun sandboarding!
