Very nice, friendly guide who led the tour for 6 people. We saw some interesting sights and had clear explanations. We were disappointed though with the value for money as the tour only last 1 hour and 40 mins.
The tour was very informative and our guide was very knowledgeable. My only comments are that she tended to walk quickly for some of group and it was difficult to hear her, especially for someone who wears hearing aids. Overall would recommend this tour.
A tour is all about the guide. That's why this tour is excellent. Anna Maria is a Salerno resident, and she is passionate about the city. She knows the locals- a big plus on a walking tour- and she knows the best spots to take you in a short distance and relatively short time. The garden and churches were extraordinary, as too the narrow cobbled streets on which Anna Marie navigates with a confident ease. She imparts the Byzantine, Lombard, and Roman history that all played a part in forming what you'll see if you book the tour.
Knowledgeable and amenable guide Maria explained much of the history of the town and adapted to our needs.
Wonderful lady and informative guide; I would suggest a walking tour in Salerno and see a breathtaking Saint Matthew cathedral.

Small group walking tour of 4 couples. Easy pickup point in the cruise port. Tour was about 2 hrs and was very informative about the history of the area and the different architecture throughout the centuries. The tour was in the oldest part of the town and quite delightful. Our guide ( sorry forgot her name) was wonderful.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We had a private tour as it was a Sunday morning in Nov. Our guide has lived in Salerno all of her life and really shared her love of the area. Such a great way to learn about Salerno from a local!
Our tour guide was well informed and charming. We learned some history and saw parts of Salerno we might not have found on our own. A lovely city.
Martina was a great guide. She explained in great detail about the history of the city and its development into the study of medicine. We really enjoyed her tour.
