Such a great show and talent!

Tickets were not too bad priced (around $75) for pretty good seats. The show was really entertaining and Shin Lim is fantastic. The Palazzo theatre is great, nice seats, comfortable temps, and not too close to neighbors. This is a great venue and we will be back!

Two years later show not as good.

We saw the show 2 years ago and it was great. Story was good, understandable, etc. magic was impressive, ending was awesome, audience involvement really good. Each trick was methodical, could hear and follow along well. You could really focus on the trick. The show we saw this past weekend was nowhere near as good as two years ago. The music was much too loud often making difficult to understand what Shin Lin was saying. The part with the piano was not good. He went up to the piano explaining about his choices between classical piano & magic trying to make it appear he was playing piano and obviously was not. The whole thing didn’t really make sense as to why the piano was even necessary. The story telling this time was all over the place and hard to follow. Some of the tricks were very good but it seemed this show was more about music, movement on stage, lights, colors etc, everything that distracted about why we were all really there, which is the awe over magic talent. The introduction of Shin Lins wife into the show was nice but her part was more the athleticism ability of the ring she hung from, the body twirling and twisting. She is very beautiful and it’s nice to see him share the show with her but her magic skills don’t hold a candle to his. The introduction of Peter, psychic magician, as the intro and entertainment at breaks etc was really good, he was awesome. Shin Lin needs to get back to why the audience comes to see him… skill, awe, the unbelievable feeling you have trying to figure out how he does what he does and this show just missed the mark. The pace is slow, piano story is fine but unnecessary, the show seems tired compared to two years ago. The story part plays as if Shin Lin is trying to just fill up time. In general, Shin Lins skill is wonderful, but the show needs to be revamped before people stop coming. I hope this review gets posted but likely will not. It not, I hope Shin Lins takes some of these comments to heart because I would love to come back in a year and be as awestruck by the show as U was two years ago. Thank you for your time. B

Magic beyond belief

The pure magic of Shin Lim is explosive. No wonder he’s a two time winner of America’s Got Talent and FISM World Champion. He seriously is a one of a kind and if there is one show to see in Vegas I would recommend this one.

I got picked! So good!!

It was absolutely amazing and very heartfelt! His tricks were so good it really felt like real magic!! Is he just a magician pretending to be a sleight of hand artist?! I was even wondering if the people in the audience were actors, but then I raised my hand and Shin Lim himself picked me! I got to go on stage! I was in the 3rd row. It confirmed just how talented he is and that YES the people he picks are random and not actors!

Worth the visit

Wasn't aware of Shin but went on recommendation. it was an interesting show and tbh his skills are really good and even have quite a bit of audience participation. I stopped trying to guess how he was doing some of stuff and just put it down as magic. his supporting act a Scottish guy, Mcleod, and he was entertaining and funny too.

Shim Lim - Limitless. Well Done - Wow, wow, wow

Wow - just wow. Shin Lim is heading towards being the biggest name in magic. In a few years time he's going to be epic. Teaming up with other magicians and mentalists is the right way to get his profile lifted to the heights. The show was absolutely amazing, and as a fan of magic and cardistry I was in my element. We sat in the VIP section at the front six rows from the stage and the viewing experience was first class. It's often difficult to watch a card magic show as it's very personal and close up but Shin and his team made it possible with huge screens and production. People are complaining that it is "much the same stuff of him producing cards and vanishing them again" This is very short-sighted. Shin's craft is mind blowing and the techniques he uses are honed to perfection. It's primarily a close up magic card show. If you're not a fan of that sort of magic then just don't go. People who appreciate it know what effort has gone into the effects and appreciate it all. I loved every minute of it. I'd definitely recommend to magic fans out there. If you want to see an elephant disappear instead then go see someone else maybe. This is pure card perfection.

There are better magic shows in Las Vegas... but not bad.

Stuart MacLeod was a bit of a dud. Math isn't "magic" and it was actually a bit depressing how easily people were blown away by basic math formulas. Shin Lim had a likeable personality and, for the most part, his sleight of hand is extremely impressive. However, my friend and I saw 3 blatant slip ups. That was a bit disappointing. I realize this is live and you only get one chance to pull off each trick but seeing several glaring mistakes in one showing was somewhat jarring. Definitely a show you would never watch twice, but it was a cute way to waste 90 minutes.
