We could not locate representative from Wata so we did not get audio system tour equipment from them we should get our money back thank you
We regret that you spent the visit looking for a representative and audio equipment — that must have felt like a treasure hunt where the treasure was never supposed to be hidden there. This product is a digital audioguide for your own smartphone, not an on-site headset rental or a guided service with a meeting representative. Entry to Notre-Dame itself is free, but our audioguide is a separate digital tour with stories and route guidance. If you had contacted our support team during the visit, we could have quickly helped you activate and use it in the app.
A rip off. Bad explanation. Impossible to use. Unusable without your own headphones. Want my money back.
We’re sorry the audioguide turned into a “where are the headphones?” detective story. TouringBee is a digital self-guided audio tour: it works through our app on your own phone, with your own headphones. No mystery box, no counter with equipment, no secret cathedral headset department — just the app, the audio, and your device. The product description states that headphones are not included, but we understand this detail can be easy to miss when booking quickly. If the guide was difficult to activate or use, please contact us at support@touringbee.com. Our team responds quickly and can help you access it or review your case. The audioguide remains available for 1 year from the purchase date, so it has not vanished into the cathedral vaults.
The tickets were not accepted and the entrance where we were supposed to get access to Notre Dame was closed. I would like a refund for tickets.

To clarify: this TouringBee product is a digital self-guided audio tour, not an entrance ticket to Notre-Dame. The title also says “no ticket”, so there was nothing that cathedral staff needed to accept — no barcode, no magic pass, no secret key to the cathedral doors. Access to Notre-Dame, opening hours, and closed entrances are managed by the cathedral, not by TouringBee. Our audio guide works on your smartphone and can be used outside, around the cathedral, or later — it remains available for 1 year from purchase. Notre Dame visit is a must. But unfortunately we couldn’t locate the pick up point for the headsets. We enjoyed the visit anyway. We could have paid for headsets inside the cathedral.
I paid for 2 for entry on the day and was given a link to the Cathedral site which was fully booked so a waste of money. The Cathedral simply aims to stagger entries and by going early we entered easily. They do not accept the pass I had been issued with. Nor do they like the audio guide that was a download for one phone. Entry is free and the Cathedral issues their own audio guides where the money goes to the Cathedral which is what we bought. They do not want people to use Viator or similar booking sites and there is no need.

The audio tour was very informative and well executed. Trying to talk to a human at Touring Bee is impossible, they only use email, so quick answers are not a reality. I was able to get some explanations from Viator and was able to get the audio tour in time to be useful. Once you understand the methodology, things went well. Read the descriptions carefully.
The tour begins with a section on the Crypte Archéologique de l'İle de la Cité. Be aware that entry to the Crypte (13 euro when we were there) is not included in the tour cost. There was a lot of good information but sometimes I wished it was explaining the nuances of what I was actually seeing as well as the back story.
We're glad you found the tour so informative — even if at times it felt more like "previously on the Île de la Cité..." than "look at this stone." Just to clarify: entrance to the Archaeological Crypt of the Île de la Cité is not included in the audio guide price. The guide itself is a separate digital tour, and tickets for the crypt are purchased separately if you wish to visit it. Admission to Notre-Dame is free for everyone. You're right, sometimes travelers want less grandiose historical drama and more details like "what am I seeing right now?" We hope that if you try one of our audio guides in another city, you'll find the balance is closer to perfect, and your rating will improve next time.
We didn't have access to the audio guide, we tried but we couldn't. Missing a better explanation of how to use it, I think it would be better to visit with the audio guide.
