Efter upphämtning från ditt hotell, bostad kl 9, börjar turen med ett besök på giraffcentret. Här ser du de magnifika varelserna och lär dig varför de är utrotningshotade. du kommer också att lära dig deras beteenden, egenskaper och mer bevarandeutbildning. På begäran utan extra transportkostnad tar vi dig gärna till elefantbarnhemmet (15 USD PER PERSON) för att se elefantungarna som räddades. Elefantbarnhemmet tar emot 200 personer per dag och du måste meddela oss för att bekräfta tillgängligheten tillräckligt tidigt.
På begäran utan extra kostnad kommer du sedan att köras till Kazuri Beads-fabriken. Detta är ett keramikföretag som gör en av världens vackraste pärlor. Du kommer att visas alla etapper från start till mål. Det är också en unik fabrik eftersom den sysselsätter ensamstående föräldrar från det fattiga grannskapet som tjänar sitt uppehälle för att försörja sina familjer. Efter detta kan vi ta dig någonstans för lunch och senare släppa dig.

This is a great half day tour if you don’t have a lot of time. The elephant centre is only open for one hour so it can be quite busy with people if you arrive early, don’t panic you will get in! Was great to hear about the work that they do for these orphans to prepare them to go back to the wild. We went to the giraffe centre first at 9am and it was quieter and just amazing to see these beautiful animals up close. We were on a tight schedule and David our guide was great.

I enjoyed feeding the giraffes at giraffe center, hearing the stories of all the animals at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and listening to the inspirational stories at the Bead Factory. Overall, it was an amazing experience and my tour guide Calvin was amazing.

This is a great place to visit and experience. You get to feed the giraffes and learn about the giraffes. Facilities are nice and although it seems it’s always busy it’s worth a visit

The staff were very knowledgeable. Our speaker gave my group a talk on the center and the giraffes. Feeding the giraffes was amazing and it was set up in a great structured manner.

After my tea plantation tour was cancelled due to the lockdown, the company made a suggestion to spend the day around Nairobi. Chris picked me up. What a fine young man he is! We went the the giraffe centre, beads factory and Karen museum. After that we had a great lunch. We drove via a slumb back to the hotel. Thank you for making a plan. I had a great day!!
