Besök tre olika slott runt Cardiff på en dag. Vi börjar med Caerphilly Castle, Wales största slott. Efter att ha utforskat slottet kommer du att tas till det magiska sagoslottet Castell Coch, inbäddat i bergen norr om Cardiff, med utsikt över Wales huvudstad. Beroende på hur lång tid du tillbringar på Caerphilly Castle och Castell Coch, kan du ha tid att besöka den 900 år gamla Llandaff Cathedral. Slutligen kommer du att tas till Cardiff Castle i hjärtat av staden, där du kommer att lämnas för att besöka slottet, och självständigt utforska stadens centrum och dess viktorianska arkader. Du kommer att vara fri att utforska Caerphilly Castle, Castell Coch & Llandaff Cathedral självständigt i din egen tid och i din egen takt återvänder till din förare i din egen tid, som kommer att vara redo att gå vidare när du är. Caerphilly Castle byggdes på 1200-talet och är det största slottet i Wales, känt för sina vattenförsvar och sitt lutande torn. Byggt av Gilbert de Clare för att kontrollera lokalbefolkningen, motarbetades byggandet av slottet av lokala walesiska härskare som försökte (och misslyckades) att förstöra slottet medan det var under konstruktion. Dess imponerande vattenförsvar har beskrivits som "det bästa vattenförsvaret av något slott i Storbritannien"
Detta sagoslott ligger inbäddat i kullarna norr om Cardiff, med utsikt över den walesiska huvudstaden. Byggt på ruinerna av ett normandisk slott, fängslar detta magiska slott alla som besöker
Om det finns tid efter Caerphilly Castle & Castell Coch, kommer du att bege dig till Llandaff Cathedral. Llandaff Cathedral byggdes för nästan 900 år sedan och är en av Wales äldsta katedraler och en dold pärla i hjärtat av Wales huvudstad.

SO MUCH VALUE! GARETH was such a great tour guide. If you’ve traveled to Cardiff, take the private tour! You see so much of the castle that’s not on the general admission tour. It’s unbelievably beautiful in the clock tower that’s only on the private tour.

This was a very cool experience. It wasn’t quite what we expected. We thought we’d have our driver or someone at the venue tour us through the castles and cathedral but that was not the case. The first castle had a virtual story that you could read/listen/watch as you went though the place. It did provide lots of interesting details of the life of some of the people that lived there but you do need to pay attention to the direction you go so you follow the story. The second castle was an audio tour (came with the payment to enter) and it was fairly informative and once the speech was done in a room it gave you options to learn more about different things you might find interesting. And there was no tour through the cathedral, we just walked through. It was all beautiful and absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful time! And would recommend but just wasn’t quite what we had expected. Our driver was also very friendly and had lots of information to share about Cardiff, the surrounding areas and its history. We had a great time with our driver!
Hi Madison, sorry for the confusion about having someone with you to guide you around the Castles & Cathedrals. Our guest usually prefer being able to explore and discover the various places we take them all over Wales independently at their own pace, so we tell them about the places we are taking them too, and once we arrive there, we let them explore in peace. Our guests have told us they very much like this "hands off" approach. I have now updated our listing, to make this clearer to those who wish to take this tour in the future. I'm glad you still enjoyed the tour and had a wonderful time however and hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Wales
It is interesting to know tree diferent linda of castles. One very Richter decorated, another a simple one. , and the third in the midle!

Wonderful experience getting outside of Cardiff and seeing more of south Wales. The castles were beautiful and we had a lot of time to explore.

Dave was a super guide. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this tour. The inside of Caerphilly was closed but the outside is spectacular by itself. Castle Coch is a great experience and Llandaff Cathedral is definitely worth visiting.

We enjoyed the tour and the chance to get out of the city. Wish that Caerphilly Castle had been open to the public, considering how far we traveled, as that was one of the reasons we booked the tour. But our tour guide was prompt, very kind and good natured, and easy to converse with. We were grateful for his time, patience, and expertise.
