En unik upplevelse där du kan njuta av landskapet i en extint vulkan, nära staden, denna vandring är inte en tävling för att se hur långt du kan gå på lite tid, du behöver bara koppla av och lita på att du når till toppa och besöka en fantastisk plats där andarna bor.

Vi börjar plocka upp alla deltagare från deras plats (ifall det är längre bort från staden hittar vi en mötesplats). Efter att ha köpt dina biljetter i Teleferico går vi upp till High station och vandrar sedan till toppen av Rucu Pichincha. Beroende på din fysiska kondition kommer vi att stanna på specifika platser för att ta ett andetag. Om en och en halv timme kommer vi fram till Bear's Cave och förbereder oss för den sista timmen av vandringen. Hela vägen kommer vi att se olika sorters växter och djur. När vi kommer fram till bergkällaren tar vi ett nytt andetag för att fortsätta till toppen. Det är dags för bilder och njuta av bergets ensamhet. Denna vandring kan vara minst 3 timmar eller mer till toppen. och två timmar tillbaka till linbanestationen. När vi återvänder till linbanans första station, skulle vi hitta vår transport redo att åka hem. Andra saker att tänka på - På regnsäsongen kommer vårt mål att vara Bear's Cave för alla deltagares säkerhet.

Our experience with Cecilia and Sommer Ekvator was absolutely exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip to Ecuador. From the very beginning, Cecilia organized a fully customized itinerary tailored to our interests and needs. She took care of every detail, including transportation, scheduling, and planning our days perfectly, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the experience. One of the most memorable parts of our trip was the beautiful hike near Quito, where Cecilia shared her extensive knowledge of the area, its history, nature, and culture. Her passion for Ecuador is contagious, and she made every stop meaningful and enjoyable. Cecilia also introduced us to some of the best local restaurants, where we experienced authentic Ecuadorian cuisine that we would never have found on our own. Every recommendation was outstanding. What truly sets Cecilia apart is her warmth, kindness, and genuine care for her guests. Throughout our visit, she made us feel less like tourists and more like family. By the end of the trip, we felt completely at home in Ecuador.
Not only is the mountain beautiful, very high but at the same time relatively accessible, but the views of the city of Quito are excellent. What surprised me most, however, was the friendliness of the couple who were our guides, Cecília and David, who are also experienced mountaineers. They explained to me the location of the dozen peaks visible throughout the tour and which constitute the so-called "Avenue of Ecuador's volcanoes". TOP!
Our guides were absolutely amazing! Unfortunately the original hike we purchased had closed access a week prior. Our guides did an excellent job recommending some alternative hikes, so we ended up going to Cotopaxi (which was amazing). Along the way, they picked up a 3rd guide who had intimate knowledge of Cotopaxi since she had grown up in its magnificent shadow. They were incredibly knowledgeable and literally treated us like family. I hope we cross paths with them again. Thank you for an amazing adventure!
